When I visited: Mid-April 2014. What I had: Petrus Aged Pale, Dieu du Ciel! & The Alchemist Moralitť, and Thiriez & Jester King La Petite Princesse in bottle, Beauís & Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale on tap, some white wines for the lady. What I liked: Solid beer selection with a few rarities in bottles, owner was very hospitable to us, decent prices, proper glassware. What I disliked: Too-cool-for-school crowd is not my scene, no food or table service from what I remember, limited seating, a dive bar for punk rockers and hipsters. Would I go back? For the hard-to-find gems that they occasionally get (like the Stillwater Classique cans that just came in), yes. Overall Rating: 62

If I lived in Toronto, I would want to come to this place all the time. Pretty nice selection considering its size (I canít imagine 40-50 people fitting into this place), and I canít say enough about the staff....old punk dudes who did time in some great bands. Iíll also have to give the food a 10/10 rating. If you havenít had it, the salisbury steak is just incredible...worth every penny. Great selection of local and regional brews, in a great area.

Punk Rock and beer, this was one of my favourite bars visited in Toronto not named Volo. Peche on tap was insane.

Small litte bar in Kensington market, and a diamond in the rough. 10 taps of solid beers, thats it, and good company from the owner. Some rare bottles from abroad.

Hole in the wall with loud rock and punk playing. Bartender/owner is knowledgable and friendly. Good bottle selection and a handful of local taps. Bad smell seems to be gone now that fish market next door has closed. A great place for a quick pint in the market.

Decent bottle selection for a smaller Kensington Toronto bar, and draught list is worth watching for local hits and some decent imports. Place smells kind of gross, which puts me a little on edge for possibly contagious pathogens instead of enjoying my beer. Thirsty has this weird íarm pit in the middle of nowhereí feel to it like this could be some desolate rural bar in the Arctic VS a comfortably cool dive-bar in major world city. I donít like the vibe much here at all, skeezy. I always want to leave instead of linger. But please. You make the call on this one!

Finally checked this place out. Itís kind of a dive, but in the best kind of way. The tables have hilarious etchings in them, and the graffiti in the bathroom is absolutely awesome. The beer selection is really quite good, lots of Belgians, and a really nice tap list. Definitely worth checking out if youíre in the area.

Finally managed to check this spot out after it consistently being closed the only times I was in the íhood. A cute little hole in the wall thatís a bit off the beaten path in Kensington. An old, dark but well-worn feel when you walk in. A solid tap list and a lot of very reasonably priced bottles as well. More Belgian stuff than is typical for Toronto, but there is other stuff as well. Thereís an odd smell when you first walk in, but just accept it as a part of the vibe and carry on. I quite enjoyed the spot and would be here pretty frequently if I lived in the area. Friendly service and good music - you could do a whole lot worse than this spot.

A dive. But quite cozy and friendly at that. Good beer selection.
