Nice place, but once didnít bother staying as there seemed to be a load of rowdy sailors (apparently) stinking the place up. So atmosphere variable I guess. Bit unfair on the bar though. Prices are pretty good and a decent selection. The metal is not really that in your face. Or maybe I was just a bit leathered. Liked it though and will be back definitely. Certainly dominated by IPA type beers but there is other stuff too. House beers are excellent value and stumbling distance from Yokohama station. Canít complain.

Another disappointment of my trip, I donít know if I did or said something but while I was with friends of the owner/bartender who introduced me I never got a smile out of the guy, hell he barely spoke to me. I heard he can sometimes be moody like that, I definitely caught him in some kind of mood. Anyways, after being told it is a tiny standing place I was surprised by the high ceilings in a bare bones concrete room with a long L-shaped bar that comfortably seats 20. The area behind the bar is quite large a good 1-2m so you might not get a seat but can probably find a place to stand. I like metal, hell I met Kerry King & Megadeth so the music was cool just the service was a shocking disappointment. Good beer though.

Metal heads rejoice. Music although there isnít too loud, which sounds odd from a metal bar. Huge non smoking bar and pretty much nothing else but screens showing metal. 6% and lower beers are note here! only big boys. Prices very reasonable and cheap for their stuff.

Unfortunately this was our last stop on a long and tiring day. Still fun, with a very solid beer selection and - you guessed it - heavy metal. Would like to come back when I have a second wind.

Small place. Limited selection. Mostly their own beers, which are ok. they donít take cards. Owner not friendly nor helpful. But quiet with rock music. Good atmosphere to come here alone to enjoy beer

Small place. Metal music played on vinyl. A selection of their own beers and other micros. Was rather tired when I got there so didnít get to appreciate it as much as I wanted to. A different place well worth a drop by.

A hardcore, no frills craft beer drinking den. Donít come here looking for a quiet nightcap. Full to the brim pints only of íextremeí beer for good value. Great selection of local and US brews. Needless to say, I got drunk. Very drunk. All in the name of craft beer. Arigatō Koichi-san!

Visited the new location on pub crawl care of Tim Maloney, which is bigger although undecorated when I visited. Great line up of beers, easy to find and they donít mess about with big heads when they serve you, making sure itís up to the pint line. Sure this is going to be great, and when I was there they had a really nice food buffet on. 1000 yen for a pint which is pretty good in Japan. Iím not a metaller though so as far as the musicís concerned it ainít my bag. However, beer quality as served is best Iíve ever had in Japan!
