98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 19/20 bucs572000 (2) Minnesota | June 10, 2013 Loved this place. Really cool statues in the parking lot. The feel of this place was awesome, had some awesome metal music playing, I understand its not for everyone but it really helps with the feel of this place. Great tap list and great fresh beer on the taps. Really cool and helpful people working bartender was helpful, the merch guy at the merch stand was a really cool and helpful guy also. Had a pulled pork sandwich also one of the best I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to go back to this place it was a great time. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 GT2 (375) Jurupa Valley, California | May 28, 2013 First time here. Crowded, not overwhelming. Great tap list. 16 house beers, three guest taps. One offs and specialties. No tasters of their special beers is quite annoying. Lots of wasted beer. Barbecue was excellent. Pulled pork sandwich out of control. Boss fries. Brisket quite good. Service slow, not interested. Never cleared off our table after an hour of having finished our meal. Heavy metal music blasting is love it or hate it. Fun, quirky place. Strange that this has such an insane cult following given the beer quality is good but not close to tired Hands, pizza boy, or hill farmstead. One last detail, the Mikkeller guest tap just said Wild Ale even though no such beer exists. | 50 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 10/20 Juelze (27) Green Bay, Wisconsin | May 28, 2013 Beer is rock solid, but the thrash metal is a bit annoying. Service is poor as hell. Were told it would be 2 minutes for our table for 6 and we would have to wait outside. 40 minutes later our table was ready. No apologies for the wait and staff ignored us until we were seated. Beer is good and food was decent. It seems that they feel they can disregard customer service due to their popularity. That’ll catch up with them eventually. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 charule (29) Pennsylvania | May 14, 2013 Pretty cool place in the middle of an industrial park. Smells like a brewery from the street. Pub is rocking heavy metal music and has interesting knick knacks everywhere. Good selection on tap including guest taps. Food decent but not going to win a michelin star. Decent prices for everything including togo beer. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 20/20 wje89 (1) Chicago , Illinois | May 14, 2013 The food isnt really my style so I can not bash it but I know that its good for most. Tap list is always great and changing. Bottles to go have been weak as of recently in bottle limit and zombie dust is out of stock most times a person would go there.
Still one of the best breweries out there and one of my top 5. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 jandd1983 (122) Florissant, Missouri | May 2, 2013 Visited over DLD 2013. Didn’t make it into the brewpub, closed for DLD, but plan on returning to try the brewpub. We had a great time and hope to have many more down the road. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 musinj6 (26) St. Louis, Missouri | May 1, 2013 Beer Mecca! That is all there is to say! They have great food and great people working there. I had a fantastic time at Dark Lord Day 2013. Their beer speaks for itself. I cannot say enough great things about this place. GO VISIT!!! | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 RoosterC (1) Illinois | May 1, 2013 One of my favs! | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 pablo951 (24) Chicago, Illinois | April 23, 2013 Excellent beers, great brewpub, good food, crappy service, and in a bad location.
The beers at Floyd’s makes it all worth the trip. The service is somewhere between "to cool for school" and just plain rude. The food is basic burgers and sandwiches (fries come separately). It’s all about the beer! | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 GuillaumeCL (6) Toronto, Ontario | April 3, 2013 Good music playing, projected old movies, my kind of place. Seating is quite limited no matter when you go. Selection is really great, but it’s only FFF beer. Food is surprisingly tasty, nothing fancy but well executed and tasty. Bar staff was knowledgeable and attentive. If you’re in the area, say staying at the hotel just a block over, don’t hesitate to go. |
