The beer here far exceeds the ambiance but I think that was the point. The food is decent and the garbage can fries are huge. Lots of brewpub exclusives that the outside world doesnít see and some solid guest taps.

Cozy little place with awsome beer selection. Beer list always changing, but never loses quality. Food was exceptional for a small place. Service is decent. Great music. Always worth a stop just to see what is new on the beer menu.

I managed to make it inside the brewpub on Dark Lord Day 2007 in order to get a sample of the Barrel-Aged Dark Lord. The beer was well worth standing in line and the brewpub was pretty cool too. Lots of great beer on draft, good atmosphere, plenty of seating. One of these days I will have to make it up to Three Floyds to just sit and enjoy some beers on a less busy day! I didnít have any food while I was at the brewpub this time, but I hear itís good. Also, be sure to checkout the artwork behind the taps as itís pretty cool. If youíve never been to Dark Lord Day or the brewpub, you really need to go! What a great time!

Showed up for DLD 2007 and glad we stopped by the night before because it was much easier to take in the brewpub that way. First impression was that this place is small. It is definitely more like a tasting room than a brewpub but it was quaint and kind of nice. Lots on tap to sample. Service was good. Neat window to look into the bottling area. Amazing thing is the location. If you didnít know where you were going youíd never find this place back in the warehouse district.. I did enjoy my visit though.

Well, I liked it... In town For DLD 2007, and arrived thursday afternoon and went strait to the pub to check things out in its normal mode before the ensuing Chaos. Very clean place, very new... I am from Asheville, NC, and if you have been here you expect some "Crazy" set ups, in prior posts I read how people got a kick out of the the atmosphere, but it seemed relatively tame for me. The service is GREAT, and for those who critisize it shame, From my time there Thursday we saw some MORONS, some guy came in on THURSDAY, asking for some "of that Dark Lord Stuff"...... I met some cool locals though, this is thier local pub, how lucky are they? the only draw back is that I had to tell them that FFF was the highest rated, and BEST brewery in America.... Locals need some Education... but any way, we were very blessed and lucky to meet Karen, and her husband and two friends... very appreciative of the fact that we drove 10-11 hours to come up there, even bought us a bomber.... for food we did the cheese dip, and cone of fries, both good... and promptly out. One cool note avout the place is that you can sit, and they have a window to the brewery and you can see the whole brewery as you sit in the pub and drink their beer. Very Cool. Overall the place was a good size good food, and the beer well, if you didnít know about the beer you wouldnít be reading this....

Visited on the evening before Dark Lord Day 2007. I wasnít expecting much from the feel/look of this place but once I stepped into the place I have to say I was impressed. From the Star Wars memorbilia to the Joey Ramone, Public Enemy and Comic Book items this place was calling out to me. Lots of FFF artwork on display in addition to other craft beer artifacts.
As for the beer they had 20+ bottles available from both American craft brewers in addition to some Belgians. 5 guest drafts plus 12 plus FFF beers on tap.
As for the food...very solid brewpub menu. The Pork Schnitzel sandwich I had was excellent served on a fresh baked toasted roll, Belgian mayo and served with great fresh cut fries. The rest of the menu looked nice as well.
Only complaint was that some of the items listed on the menu (including the soup of the day and deserts) were not available.
So far this place has been the closest to the type of establishment I dream of running/owning. The location is kind of secluded and if you put this in a major city or even a suburb of a decent city it would be booming! Go FFF.

This place puts all other bars/pubs in NW Indiana to shame....period. Very quaint and socially acceptable. The beer selection is GREAT....which is obviously why most people stop by. Superb pub food and friendly service is what makes this place the best. Keep up the great work!

Stopped by on the way back from Chicago. Everything about this place rocked. Royal wit Cheese! Karen was so knowledgable and helpful. The brewers were as well. Picked up a few cases before heading back to NC. Such a treat that they sell the stuff there. Of course, wishing Iíd brought back more than I did. Will have to make this a place a staple every time Iím back in the Chicagoland area.

Completely worth stopping by. Karen at the bar was as sweet as she could be. Great food, (had the best Scotch egg of my life, and the Chancellor.) They serve half pints of the strong stuff so that I could taste everything they had. Nice atmosphere and thank the beer gods they sell the stuff here. Even give you a break on the case. As soon as I tried to step foot out of the place I found something else I had to spend money one. The Slave Princess (Porter from the second mash of Dark Lord) was just the biggest treat. They also had Aventinus Eisbock and Hopslam on draft. If it werenít in Munster Indiana I would have applied for a job. This place is reason enough for me to go back to Chicago and make the trip down.
