I love this place. Always new beers on tap to try and sample. The menu is a little thin, but who comes for the food!

Small little place that you will probably wait to get into. Amazing beer that’s not available in bottles. The best pub grub anywhere.

With a name like mine you know Im a fan of their beers. I pick up brews all the time here, but finally had a chance to sit and eat. Lots of new beers to try on tap, which I loved. Food is not your average bar food. It’s like gourmet bar food. Very impressed. Waiter sucked and was a little creepy. Let my glass go empty AT A BREWPUB?!?! Really? I’ll be back again and again and again and...

This is a cool place. While very basic in the ambiance, Three Floyds is very organized and meters patrons into the pub according to ability to serve them. A solid place to enjoy great beer.

I just recently returned from my trip to this great little brewery in Munster. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill. A place you could hang out in for a little while if you wanted. I got a one of thier burgers. I was gonna get thier steak but upon recommendation from a friend I got the burger. It was a GREAT burger! I consider myself a burger-nut and the Three Floyd’s Burger beat out my 2 of my top ten. Let’s remeber this is a brew pub. She had a BLT. I must say that is some of the best bacon she’s ever tasted. IT’s juicey and thick and yummmy! OK lets not forget about the beer. There’s the Gumballhead. Ok I’d give this beer a 98. Then there’s the Dreadnaught. OK so this one is PERFECT! then the X (tenth year anniversary)..another perfect and delicous creation. Not to forget like 5 other amazing beers. I’m sure they’ve won awards up the wazoo....This is a cool great brew pub! Highly recommended and only an hour ourside of Chicago...

Not the most atmospheric of places, but incredible beers and solid food make the trip worthwhile. On the food front, the fries are made to order, and the sauces (curry ketchup, 4-ale cheese) are terrific. We also tried sandwiches. Two thumbs up to both the smoked turkey with gouda and the muffaleta. As for the beers, we tried only Three Floyds beers, though the guest line up is solid. Well, but for PBR .... All of the Three Floyds’ brews were superb, and it was great getting beers that are not available bottled, such as Bob da Brut, an amazingly rich, heavy Scotch ale with plum/prune notes; a Berliner weisse beer with pomegranate and cherry juice (not your ordinary Berliner weisse), and Broo Doo - 100 IBUs of hoppy goodness. Trying the classics such as Pride and Joy, Robert the Bruce (less sweet on tap than in bottle), and of course Alpha King at their source was a nice experience. If you are in the area, make the trek.

Ambiance - used to be much better. An unfortunate side effect of their popularity in the recent years, has led to them attracting the local hipster douche bags.
Service - I know a few of the bartenders ,and those ones give me awesome service, while with others it’s very poor (perhaps due to under staffing? They also seem to have quite a high turnover rate there...)
Selection - Never disappointing!
Food - Amazing as their beer is, you would be extremely hard pressed to find a place outside of Chicago that rivals it.
Value - Chicago style prices in the suburbs, yuck.

Because I have been drinking beers in the brewery part of this building for years, the pub is very exciting to me...a bar stool, a bar... The location, to me, serves a great purpose. It’s far enough out of the way to keep away the swill-slurping barflys and tucked away fnicely, becoming a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the areas crowded streets and backed up highways.
Inside, the casual atmosphere is cool and industrial, with huge versions of the FFF labels on the wall. The staff is small, and although swamped at the moment by the curious, they keep the beers flowing at a furious rate. The food (so far on this smaller opening menu) is great. Hearty brats and amazing wood-oven pizzas. Independent and cult films play silently on one wall, while an interesting mix of music plays in the background.
Three Floyds is all about conversation. In the three times I’ve been here, I’ve met some new Ratebeerians and BAs, some cool people from the neighborhood and some people just travelling through the area and read about it in the paper. Hopefully you won’t get stuck sitting by JoshuaB & hyjackhops while they complain about having no "entertainment" and how Nick won’t be their best friend. The place has been a real blast... and I haven’t even mentioned the beer!

Looking for a fabulous place where you can karaoke to tired, cliché tunes with a bunch of inept losers who couldn’t carry a note in a f’n paper bag? How ’bout a loud, obnoxious bar where you can watch the game while a bunch of equally loud, obnoxious college boys attempt to trick the local underage talent into the backs of their daddies’ Buicks while stumbling over each other’s egos? If this is your trip, then you’ll have to step elsewhere, ’cuz this ain’t it. FFF’s all-wood bar is situated center stage in a theater of the unorthodox, illuminated by semi-obscure sci-fi cinematics and illustrated with the oversized likenesses of the brewery’s most famous performers. Playing the straight man to stars such as Alpha Kong and Moloko Sweet Stout are the anomalous accompaniments Scotch egg and fried calamari. Highly recommended are guest appearances by the Royale and the goat-cheese costumed wood-oven pizza. Situated in an industrial sea an isthmus apart from a river full of neighborhood rats, FFF is an uncustomary island retreat.
