Food was excellent as well as the beer but the service was greatly lacking, 20-30 minutes w/ out seeing your server is pretty unexcusable considering it was busy but far from crowded.. I even saw a couple get up and leave because they couldnít get service.. not a good start.. I think they have a nice atmospher though and with some proper staffing could be great.

Because I have been drinking beers in the brewery part of this building for years, the pub is very exciting to me...a bar stool, a bar... The location, to me, serves a great purpose. Itís far enough out of the way to keep away the swill-slurping barflys and tucked away fnicely, becoming a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the areas crowded streets and backed up highways. Inside, the casual atmosphere is cool and industrial, with huge versions of the FFF labels on the wall. The staff is small, and although swamped at the moment by the curious, they keep the beers flowing at a furious rate. The food (so far on this smaller opening menu) is great. Hearty brats and amazing wood-oven pizzas. Independent and cult films play silently on one wall, while an interesting mix of music plays in the background. Three Floyds is all about conversation. In the three times Iíve been here, Iíve met some new Ratebeerians and BAs, some cool people from the neighborhood and some people just travelling through the area and read about it in the paper. Hopefully you wonít get stuck sitting by JoshuaB & hyjackhops while they complain about having no "entertainment" and how Nick wonít be their best friend. The place has been a real blast... and I havenít even mentioned the beer!

This place is awesome! The Floydís have got a gold mine here. There was a great selection of beer on tap. This selection offered a great sampling of their own beers plus three brews from other micro-breweries. The food was delicious and came in large portions. The crowd offered a wide variety from the family enjoying a nice dinner to the well-rounded beer enthusiast. The waitress works her bum off!

Not a place I would like to spend my time. An amazing beer list for the most part, spoiled by the ambience and location. As if Munster and Indiana werent bad enough, this place is in the back of an industrial yard. The pub has a very very bland nature to it. I felt as if I were in my old college basement. Not much to offer here, just a small bar, and a few tables. No entertainment whatsoever. Be prepared to have a pint and leave, otherwise you will be pulling your hair out in boredom. What a waste. Blah.

Whatís up with those growler prices Nick? Then you limit us to 6 tappers youíll sell in growler? I hope those regulars/shareholders have lots of $$$ to keep you going in a bad location.

Betcha most of the people in Munster still donít know that some of the worldís best beers are being served in this new little hole-in-the-wall in the back of an isolated industrial park. Iíve taken the brewery "tour" many times, but now itís just ten times better. A great social place with stuffed seats, no TVs, and NO SMOKING! I hit it the Saturday of opening week to find a convivial crowd, Karen and a Floyd or two behind the bar, 12 beers up and two guest beers from Backroad and Mad Anthony. They still werenít fully staffed and the food menu wasnít complete. I had a nice burger on a brioche, but it was served with barely warm tater tots, though the wood oven pizzas looked scrumptious, so Iím reserving my food rating til later. Music was a Floyd-selected mix of techno-ish rock and a touch of alt-country that Iíll call "overnight college radio:" didnít recognize any of it, but I enjoyed it. Regular brews are $5 for an Imperial pint, and specials (as in Alpha Kong and Surly Klaus) are $6 in a small snifter. Itís already my favorite place to have a beer ever.
3/15/06 visit: Finally had a chance at their house pizza: Slightly smoky sauce and cheese on a crackerbread crust. Not close to Chicago style (hey, theyíre "not normal" here), but a lot faster to get to the table.

Have to rate the brewery before the brewpub opens up. Located in an industrial park, you walk up to a fairly non-descript warehouse and open the door to a medium sized brewery. Luxury accomodations include a table and 4-6 chairs. 4-6 beers on tap, all of the breweries. Decent service. Can be cold, pack a coat if its fall/winter/spring. Really a place for beer dorks, your wife wonít be impressed.
