Stopped here on the way back to Philly from Milwaukee. Tucked away in an industrial park - thought I was in the wrong spot (kind of reminded me of the off the beaten path liked Victory). Has that hole in the wall feeling inside. Out of a couple of beers listed on the web site & on the beer board (and that was written in chalk - just erase it!). That being said, you must go here if you like 3F beers! Food was good and I found the service to be great (of course I was there at 8pm on a Sunday).

been here several times now. i donít think iíll return for a long time. obviously the location is awful. itís a bit too dark; the couches may seem weird, but i like them. service is ok. it was too long in between beers the most recent visit. the time before i did ask for a new beer since i hated the dolemite and the waitress complied. so that was really cool. iíve liked the food every time iíve gone there. thereís always a new beer or three iíve never had, so big up there as well. good guest tap list. but ultimately iím tired of driving 75 minutes one-way for this.

Horrible location. Nice landscaping at entrance leading to an inside which looks like a frat house garage where the boys spent half a day trying to fix it up but just stopped, all that was missing was the Rubbermaid trashcan with a keg in it. Battleship gray wall, little Japanese monster movie posters, low ( Asian like but cheap) couches and coffee tables, purple and yellow bathroom walls. Very spartan. Great tap selection, 3-F and guest taps. Food was so-so. Good menu selection of varied sandwiches and pricy pizzas. Fries still had peel but used the Bennigans ratio of 1/2 salt and 1/4 each pepper and garlic, but they used too much Kosher salt ( dont need as much) but it is a brewpub so I get it. Turkey burgers tasted good but my brother pulled out 5 large pieces of gristle from his. Bartender came out to seat us right away but the server seemed out of it or just smoking too much weed. I understand the dream concept of this place but the reality of running it and the location do not seem to fit. Update: From the menu: the Porker. WTF? $2.50 for a doughnut hole size app.? At least fill in the rest of the plate with something...anything. I laughed at the waitress when she brought this out and she seemed embarrassed to bring it out

Where is the SERVICE? We goot on a real wrong foot with 3F in that department. Good beer selection. However no dreadnaught was to be found on tap or in the bottle. Didnt eat there and from what I hear Iím GLAD! Iíll have to go back for DL Day, maybe it will boost my rating of this place!

Itís all about the service and beer. I sat at the bar and was taken care of. The selection of house brews and guest beers was outstanding (with the exception of BP BR taking up space amongst the taps). The food sucked, but a good time was had by all those with me... richlikebeer, firemoose15 and egajdzis. Before the pub, I always enjoyed my visits to the brewery which was cold in the Winter and hot in the Summer.

Poor location and service, as mentioned elsewhere. Food is a real low point to me- the secret ingredient in everything is grease, which is fine, but they pass it off as gourmet food (with gourmet prices). Really, food is waaay top expensive. In the beer area, the place canít be beat, of course. Although, you would think you could get some sort of discount by going to the source, but I figured the prices on Alpha King/Robert the Bruce/etc to be about the same per ounce as what I can get 200 miles away in Muncie.

Well, I wonít be as pissy as my predecessors here. A crew of us from PA drove out for DL 06 and I thought it was worth it. We went there a day before the grand festivities so we could drink as much as possible and get something to eat w/out the crowd. Hopheadmom sure took care of us, she made sure we each had a full glass and even had water glasses out for us cleanse the pallet. The pizza was damn tasty too. Everyone was more than happy to chat with us and even put up with us being silly right before we left. Honestly a good time, too bad itís 700+ miles away.

[note: rating tainted by Dark Lord Day] Poor service, no seating and over an hour wait to buy bottles makes me an angry boy - however, the beer selection on tap was awesome, and the festivities, even if they were organized mostly by the participants and not the brewery itself, made this a really fun environment to be in - I would most certainly return on a more "normal" day.

So we show up, and the place is really not that busy. And yet, service was slow and unfriendly. Bruce Lee movie is playing on the wall. We ordered a couple of Dreadnaughts and a pizza. Takes way too long to bring out two beers. Pizza is served pretty fast though. We soon find out why. By far, without a doubt, this was the worst piece of crap pizza I have ever had from a restaurant. Absolutely horrible. Tombstone pizza is better than this terrible garbage, and Tombstone sucks. And, this awful pizza was $14!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So let me just say this, Three Floyds has done it, they served up the final nail in their coffin for me. They will NEVER get my money, ever again. I donít care how good their beers may be. OVERPRICED FOOD & BEER, AND OVERRATED AS HELL.

6/18/06: Much less hectic. Much fewer 3Fís taps on. Interesting that they serve Stone Ruination, 1 of the top competitors to Dreadnaught. Garbage fries are oustanding. Pizza is different; not bad, just not my favorite. 5/6/06: My ratings are likely tainted due to my 1 and only experience from Dark Lord Day. Having been in the first 3rd of the line to get my beer, I figured when I was done that I would be ahead of the curve getting brews in the brewpub. Nope. Place was full, although not unmanageable. However, they had only 1 bartender working. I stood patiently at the middle of the bar, while the bartender walked from 1 side of the bar to the other and back again over and over again without noticing me. I frequently tried to verbally get her attention to no avail. Finally, another bartender came and another 15 minutes later I had my first beer. Iím sorry, but that is completely inexcuseable. Youíre expecting 400 people for this event and you have 1 bartender, and then only 2?!? The plates of food they were serving for $10 were a joke; Iím glad I didnít bend over & grab my ankles for that one. Otherwise, a good tap selection, but overpriced for getting at the source. I can get a bomber of Dreadnaught for a dollar less near where I live than I can get at the brewery. 3Fís is alienating their core customer, & great beer or not, mark my words, it will come back to haunt them.
