This is perhaps the best beer joint I have ever been to though I should probably say "gastropub". Excellent selection of local brews and and food (VT cheese!) make this a must visit if in the area.

This place was hopping when we arrived. Local focused draft list, light on the HF but had double sunshine and lots of other beers Iíd never even heard of. They all were great, plus a superb reasonably prices bottle list. Has the beer bar feel, more so than any other place in Vermont. A place Iím used to and like, Iíd be back for sure. The food menu looked great, wish I had eaten there.

Kick ass tap and bottle selection. Loads of interesting local stuff and a bit that crosses the border. This would be my go-to bar in the area, hands down.

Canít think of any improvements Iíd make. One of a kind drafts and bottles, crazy good. Great bartender on the Saturday afternoon we went, extremely helpful. Ambiance of an old neighborhood in a perfect way. Wish weíd had more time to try food and more brews.

Great spot right on Main St. and a less than a mile from Hunger Mountain Co-Op. Great draft ist of Vermont must haves like Lawsons, Hill, and Alchemist along with an eclectic mix of new england and imported beers too. Very friendly bar staff with knowledge of beers being served. Great bottle list that had me wishing I was there with a few friends so I could get into some of them... the food was fantastic and quick. Nice atmosphere ! Really enjoyed my lunch there !

2013-04-26. Nice little spot in a quaint little strip of the city. We managed to get street parking a short walk away despite it being quite busy at the time. We walked into a VERY busy bar side around 5:30 on a Friday night and were happy to find seats in the quieter dining area. Beer selection was pretty good with a selection of styles and breweries. I was driving so I opted for a root beer and stole some of Mabelís flight, which were a bit disappointing but still stuff we were glad to try. I got the burger which seemed a bit small when it arrived but after one bite I had no complaints. Delicious! Mabelís stew was also excellent. Finished dinner with some Old Rasputin brownies which were delicious. A serving of three brownies is a bit much though!

I went to Three Penny taproom on a Thursday afternoon. The place is beautiful and well-located. Thereís was not a lot of people at the time we went there so itís hard to judge the ambiance. Service was good. There was 25 tap-line. Many good beer, but nothing exceptional. Short, but impressive bottle list (including Ale Apothecary). Food was excellent. My burger was small, but really tasty. Price are ok. Really nice beer bar.

Walking in it looked inviting. It did not have the appeal of a dive bar but it was a place that took pride in serving drinks. Then the bartenders seemed to not really care that my party walked in. It was not busy and we easily found some seats at the bar and sat down. I was excited to see the listed bottles available for sale on their chalk board. They had some good Cantillon, 3 Fountein, and a bottle or two of some lesser known breweries. After a minute or two a bartender conversed with us. He answered any question that I had and was pleasant about it. As for tap selection it was not insanely good but it had a few things up there that I was curious to try. Overall this place is one of the better places to get a pint. I would recommend stopping in if youíre in the area.

Solid little pub that looks like a coffee shop. Not much else going on in Burlington. Had a good burger but food options are limited. Was very happy to see Heady Topper and HF on the menu.
