decent old school boozer, all bare wood with a covered smoking area to rear. largely cask on offer but some kegs now also available, still has plenty of Arbor beers available. Ideal midway stop between king street and bag oínails.

Very nice pub, charismatic, great variety of tap. Despite no longer an Arbor pub, had 4 of the on tap.

Visited a few times over the years, most recently in December 2014. Comfortble bare boarded pub with scrubbed wood tables and a nice vibe. Itís generally been a bit quiet in here when Iíve visited but thatís probably just down to the times Iíve visited. Note that the pub is no longer owned/operated by Arbor Ales but they still had four Arbor ales on cask - actually more than Iíve seen sometimes whn it WAS owned by Arbor - and we were told that there are no plans to abandon Arbor. Also three or four interesting guests and a few craft kegs. Definitely (still) worth a visit.

An old pub with a modern twist, much nicer inside than its exterior would suggest - subdued colours, scrubbed pine tables and a nice atmosphere. They had four Arbor Ales on cask plus three guest casks and four kegs. Worth a visit.

Great ex Arbor pub in the City. Knowledgeable staff and utterly superb beer festivals. Beer is kept well and not too expensive. Expect specials from the likes of Arbor; WIld Beer; even Kernel. Iíve had some great world-class beers here and always enjoyed chatting to the friendly bar staff. Lately I heard Arbor are no longer running this pub but it is still excellent. Bristol has an awesome pub scene and this is at the heart of it. Great place.

Probably my favourite bar in Bristol, from the ones that I tried. Small interior thatís cosy, but very welcoming. Perched at the bar while I was here and had some good beer related chats with the manager, Alex. Apparently this is now no longer owned by Arbor, but they do still stock a lot of their beers, so itís still the place to visit for them. Really big turn over of cask beers, I was told that they can frequently get rotated twice in a busy night. There were eight cask and about half were Arbor. Others from Harbour, Ramsbury, Purple Moose and the less exotic (for me) XT. Very reasonably priced food, BBQ style. They also sell some nice pre-prepared sandwiches when the kitchen isnít open. Four craft keg taps and a good number of rotating bottles. Alex told me that they were selling some Beavertowns for only £2.50! All draught beers are available in third pint measures.

Taken over by Arbor Ales in 2010 after years of alternating between being shut or a total dive, the Three Tuns has gone on to win Bristol & district CAMRA pub of the year in 2012. The selection of beers has been excellent to date, with cask ales comprising three Arbor and four guests from the likes of Dark Star, Marble, Moor, Bristol Beer Factory, Raw and Art Brew. Installed 4 keg taps in September 2012, which serve Arbor, Kernel, Moor and Harbour beers. Also sells a wide range of beers in the bottle. Beer quality has been excellent and service is efficient. With the Bag OíNails and Grain Barge nearby, this makes for an easy, high quality pub crawl.

Proper pub just off the dockside area and away from the new developments. The beers are mostly Arbor, obviously, but guests as well in both cask & keg. There is a comfortable, if slightly cramped, pub feel to it, not much room outside by the looks. The opening hours proved difficult for us unfortunately, we had to make a bit of a special effort, but it was worth it.

The Three Tuns is one of Bristolís top beer destinations. The pub itself has a traditional sort of feel, with quite a laid-back atmosphere (certainly or our visit). They offer a very nice selection of craft beer on cask & keg. Obviously Arbor dominates, but there was also BBF, Alechemy and Blackjack on our visit. Stronger beers are offered in thirds if you wish - perfect for the power-rater! They have small, but interesting bottle selection and we opted for some Wiper & True. We could have easily spent a lot more time here. A great place all-round.
