One of the best restaurants in Minneapolis and appropriately busy - come in for a late lunch to have a comfortable solo experience or around 845 for dinner for two. Food is phenomenal, and portions of the dinner menu are available during lunch - mostly the smaller sharing plates, which is where the best action is at anyway. The beer list, now about thirty-five taps deep, is usually pretty strange in ways both good and bad, owing to the fact that the chef/ owner, with his seemingly peculiar taste in beer, is involved in the beer-buying. There is always something on tap that none of the other bars wanted, but thereís always plenty of good choices too.

First rate food. I definitely recommend this place for food. Ordinary Belgians and domestic crafts, but nothing crazy, or unusual. I had a Pumking, they had a few Chouffe beers. The selection rotates and I do not think any of the beers listed as available here were actually there today. Great food, friendly service. Donít go here expecting new beers, but you will be able to find something good to drink with your meal.

Came here for anniversary dinner and had forgotten I had previously heard its a beer place. First beer was a Feullien tripel and I was concerned there might be tap line issues but that passed and was confirmed not the case with the SN Narwhal I had next. Really neat, small place. Bar reminds me a bit of Pig & Fiddle but this is much cooler. Beer list was very good but short of stellar. Still the food and beer emphasis is not dissimilar to Butcher and the boar, which makes sense as there are some ties between the two places. Between the huge beer menu board and the plentiful taps, itís hard not to notice that this place is beer first, wine second. And I endorse that.

Hipster feel here. Great place for some awesome food. Beer selection is fairly rare. I had a Dupont Saison. Open grill and generally crowded.

GREAT PLACE! Food is fan-fucking-tastic. Beer selection is small (12 or so) but rotates and has good variety. I recommend this place a ton!

Took the fam here tonight for the CBS release. It was a smaller bar, not a ton of seating and kind of dumpy. 20 or so taps seems right, but they were bringing the heat with what they had. $15 for a 6 oz pour of CBS and a canadian monte cristo sandwich was a steal, both were freakiní amazing! The $7 salad was a ripoff though. Kids menu had some variety and prices include drink, meal and dessert. Place was a mix of hipsters and old people that probably had no idea about the CBS and were caught in the crossfire.

Great bar in Linden Hills in Minneapolis, MN. 21 taps - all good stuff. About 16-18 bottles or so - also good stuff. Wait staff take their craft seriously and have a good time doing it. Pretty warm in there, though!
