They have an above average selection of bottles as well as a handful of taps. Not nearly enough taps to really represent how much good beer is available in NC right now, though, and they run out of stuff very quickly. Rarely do they actually have all of the items on their printed list. Sometimes they do get random rare kegs that make a visit necessary. The food is great, service is so-so from both a general perspective and a beer knowledge view. I love coming here to watch a game and grab food between bands at the Pour House, which is a few doors down. Also near other great spots like Busy Bee and Raleigh Times.

Had dinner here last Sunday ( 3/28/10 ). not a huge menu, but the Cottage Pie I ordered was delicious! only had one beer, but they had Foothills Hoppyum on draft, a beer which had eluded me the previous two times I had been in the Raleigh area. worth a visit if in the mood for an Irish bar.

First I must say this is the brightest pub Iíve ever been to. Maybe they turn the lights down later in the evening but when I stopped in at 5 PM on a Wednesday night the place was as bright as an office. That aside, I liked the interior of it. Itís a very open bar-restaurant with paintings on the wall and some Irish memorabilia around. The staff was very nice and talkative to just about anyone. The place is large enough that there appeared to be a dart league tournament going on later in the evening and you wouldnít even know they were there. They beer selection was pretty good and the food was very good also. It doesnít look like a whole lot from outside but I was glad I stopped in. I would go back to this place again.

Visited on a Friday afternoon. Didnít have a very good selection at all, IMHO. Only about a dozen rare beers in bottle. Nothing unusual on tap. Bartender was very friendly.

In downtown Raleigh, with a decent number of taps, some of which are local beers. Every Thursday is local beerlocal band night (beer specials!!), and the food is really good. You can take kids there. Can be smoky at the bar. Foosball table, darts. Good place.
