Great place! Really chill. Food is outstanding! Homemade bread and pickles, and the candied bacon are a must try! Great selection of beers and they are phenomenal. A definite must visit if your in the area or in need of a road trip!

Ambiance - area is very safe, building is clean and very cozy, and the bar is very nice and clean.
Service - staff was very nice and polite, and helpful.
Selection - itís just growlers or a pint there. Now the beer is very good, so itís ok. Really would prefer bottles. Would allow me to drink them over time instead of in a short sitting.
Food - very nice selection, there bread is also very nice.

What a great spot. Itís definitely for the beer nerd. A great bunch of folks behind the bar. They know what they are talking about when it comes to beer and are generally quite willing and eager to share that knowledge with you.
The food was amazing - mostly local, all fresh, and very well paired. The bartender was very willing to help us with our selections on that front as well.
I left with all kinds of goodies - growlers, glasses, etc. Reasonably priced for some great beer. Weíll be back.

During my recent trip to Philadelphia I had the privilege of stopping by Tired Hands and completing an IP trade with ReggieDunlap on 24 January, 2014.
The staff was super friendly and talkative with the beer being world class. The menu is small yet they offer exceptional sandwiches and finger foods are available. I can rave about how much I like this place but I would rather just sayÖ. ďI shall return.Ē

Probably the best brewpub in the Tri-State area. Amazing beers. Good food. Fancy brewpub fare. Eclectic music selection, which I also appreciated. Wish I could go more often.

Visited on 8/3/13.
A: The place is kind of small but has a very warm and inviting feel to it. The bar area downstairs has a nice rustic appeal to it, a decent sized bar with about a dozen stools and a handful of tables around the far wall. There is a stairwell upstairs for another area for more tables too.
Q: The beers were had mostly very good with the exception of the berliner weiss which was just boring. I had tried 5 of their beers that night and it was the only one that I thought was a miss compared to the rest of them.
S: The bartender was very prompt, knowledgable, friendly and attentive for a saturday night. She was very prompt to get to us when our glasses were running low.
S: The selection was decent with their 8 beers and 1 cask...very heavy on the APA, IPA, and Saisons. When we went, they had 5 IPAs, 2 Saisons, 1 Berliner, and 1 Brett beer.
F: The food was good, we ordered the some cheese and some meats, which were very good. This is not the type of place that would go for dinner but more of something to snack on to compliment the beers.
V: A very big positive to me was that they offered a 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz beer options. The prices were a little high even for the quality of the beers but the smaller sizes can ease your wallet concerns too.
Overall, I really liked the brewery and think that it is worth stopping at when in the Philly area. Althought the beers were good, it seems to me after having a dozen of their different selections by now, that although the beers are good, there is some hype behind it to make it seem like the ímust go toí brewery. Good to great but outstanding like some of the hype says it is.

I really loved this place. Reminded of some of the small brewpubs Iíve visited in central Pennsylvania as well as Vermont. Nice lowkey, small town vibe. They have a solid draft selection which frequently rotates thought-provoking recipes. Their ipas and pales are extremely fresh and sessionable. They offer everything in 4oz, 8oz, pint and two growler formats. Sampling format is extremely advantageous if youíre going out of your way and prefer to try the majority of their stuff in one trip. They typically have several paninis available, meat and cheese plates, candied bacon and bread and butter plates. If youíre not getting food - get the bread and butter anyway, it will rock your face off. Service is always attentive and friendly.

Iíve been making almost weekly visits to Tired Hands for the last year and for good reason. I love the chill vibe especially on Sunday now that they open at 12. Perfect for growlering up and a few samples before a day of football. Folks are always friendly and attentive but can get a bit hectic during special events. Brews are always top notch and interesting. Food is excellent as well but can get pricey except for the bread which i would say is a bargain for the quality. Even their bottle releases go smoothly. Perhaps my favorite beer destination ever.

Really nice brewpub in Ardmore, if a little small. Usually have about 10 beers on tap, most of them one offs. The beer here is really good. Havenít had any of their food yet. Can get beers in 4, 8, and 16 oz sizes, so good for trying different beers. A tad pricey on some of the beers, but the quality is outstanding. Easy access to Regional Rail so you donít have to worry about driving home.
