There was a line when they opened Saturday at 4. Jean was very personable and fun to chat with. Very friendly and helped my GF and I decide what to drink. Our 8 growlers were filled while we ate some of the best candied bacon ever! The pickled cucumbers were amazing and the bread was out of this world. Very drinkable beers, friendly staff, prices were pretty high but we’re from new hampshire so it seems everything in ARdmore was pricey.

I wasn’t sure what to expect coming here due to the huge buzz of popularity this place gets. The building outside is nondescript but upon entering you’re welcomed by friendly staff and a warm, cosy environment. I’ve made two visits on Tuesday and Thursday at opening time and easily grabbed a spot at the bar. The beers are diverse with a range of styles from bitter, saisons, hoppy and sour. A shame their wasn’t any dark beer though! The food is home made with panini, salads, kimchi and a selection of charcuterie - all really tasty and filling. The bartenders were attentive and really friendly and same goes with the other punters who were happy to engage in conversation. I can only imagine how busy and less inviting weekends could be, but the new site a few blocks away will be a great 1-2 combo. Awesome experience.

Really cool little space with great character. Bee is outstanding as is the food. Both are thoughtful and we’ll executed. Service was prompt, friendly and enthusiastic. Prices are ridiculously good relative to quality. If I lived closer to this place I’d be here everyday.

Small place, lots of exposed brick, the smell of meat in the air. A bar with a few tables, more seating upstairs but I didn’t take a look. Lots of locals and tons of people getting growler fills. I found street parking to be easy near opening and it looks like public parking may be nearby. Bartender was very helpful and gave me a suggestion of another brewery which I totally would have checked out had the roads not been getting bad from the snowstorm barreling in. Simple menu with lots of great options for reasonable prices. Even the bread and butter for $3 is great and there for the budget conscious. Portions were ample. Beer is available as 4 ounce pours for $2-4 each. Larger pours also available as well as growler fills in multiple sizes. Beer quality is over the top, and I probably had the best beer over a 10 day road trip. Prices are solid, my two plates of food, 5 samples, two growler fills with glass and a teku glass, plus tax and tip, came to less than $80. World class stop and well worth going out of your way.

Really small joint that happened to have a place at the bar open for me. First thing I notice is the bread oven and boules sitting on the shelves above the oven. As a certified sourdough bread baking nerd I can’t help but like this place. Beers are offered at 3 different sizes (4, 8 and 12 oz I believe). I got all 4 oz pours and everything was phenomenal. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. They had some really cool glassware for sale. Beer was all their own. I spoke with one of the Brewers at the bar which was really cool. As I was closing out my server apologized for making me wait and I was throughly confused as u had just gotten the best service I had ever had at a brewpub. Food looked gourmet and what I got (pickles and bread) was fantastic.

Avery small and trendy brewpub where everyone is working hard and having fun. Crowded but comfortable.. Service was good and food was equally good. Funky and fun, with great beer and no tasters but small pours. Had a great time.

One of my favorite brewpubs. Draft list changes almost entirely weekly. Food is nice, can’t miss the candied bacon. Worth a trip if you are anywhere near Philly, just watch out for Monday when they are closed.

Eclectic, interesting brewpub in a suburb of Philly...small but lots of character. It can be difficult to get a bar seat as they focus what space they have on the tables...which makes some sense given the high caliber of their food. That food includes a number of artisan sandwiches on house made artisan breads along with some nice sides and soups. The beers here are the true stars. Many are unusual versions of beers you know, some are beers that although perhaps familiar to you...may be not so in the manner they’ve created them...and then a few are just higher refined versions of an otherwise popular beer style. I give them credit for being both experimental "and" successful with these efforts. I would classify Tired Hands as a destination craftbeer locale worth going out of your way for. You may just want to consider going at a less crowded time.

Great place! Solid set of beer - during my visit they tended heavily along the saison and pale ale lines. Great service and a cool neighborhood place. Great news to hear they are expanding with a larger brewing plant. Prices are cheap too. They offer 4 oz pours one at a time to get through the list.

This place is without question one of the best brewpubs in America. At first glance, Tired Hands is frankly pretty unimpressive looking. It’s located in an afterthought of a building in a suburb of Philly. The brewpub’s spread over 2 floors, with most of the small space dedicated to table service. The decor’s functional and not very interesting. However, the beers they’re producing here more than make up for the less than ideal venue. Tired Hands’ beers are delicate, nuanced, and incredibly tasty. Each of the 8 beers on tap were far better than average, especially the saisons and pale hoppy offerings. Prices were incredibly reasonable given the quality of the beer. The service was faultless. My barman was clearly very knowledgeable, and did a great job of anticipating my needs as a customer. I would’ve been all too happy to spend an entire day here. Overall, a world class experience.
