78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 PorterPounder (244) Tallahassee, Florida | May 5, 2013 Visited here in early May ’13. Close to the interstate (I-20) for those passing through. Has an entire cooler wall full of beer with an accompanying warm shelf. Plenty of regional micros represented and some common New England, Colorado and West Coast brewers as well. Import selection was not overly impressive - all the common imports, but nothing out of the ordinary - my focus was on micro singles this trip. Probably had about at least 250 different beers when all is said and done. All six packs are available as singles and no problems at the check out with single pricing. Nice, warm ambiance with soft lighting, friendly, but not overbearing service. Worth a stop if in the Augusta area. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 FatWater (1) Martinez, Georgia | February 4, 2013 Best selection of craft beer and imports in Augusta. Very professional staff and a nice establishment! | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 uncben87 (5) Georgia | April 7, 2012 Toast is a great go-to spot in Augusta. They always have a decent selection of craft beers and the imports/belgian selection is great. Not many rarities but like I said, a great go-to for good beer. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 SabreSkull (7) North Augusta, South Carolina | February 24, 2012| Updated March 2, 2012 Great selection and good layout. Several marked down items throughout the store. Best price on Arrogant Bastard Ale in the area! | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 AWISLguy (70) Wisconsin | July 9, 2011| Updated March 2, 2012 Classy setup. Very organized store with groups of everything, and two long beer shelves across the back with a cooler across. Very nice selection of across-the-country stuff. Can break up 6s for build-your-owns anywhere. Staff was enthusiastic. Could have spent more time and more money in there. A bit more expensive than Harvard so if it is a more common item, you will save a little buying it at Harvard first - but they are only 10 minutes apart. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 beernovice39 (196) Montana | July 14, 2009| Updated February 19, 2011 Mr. Cato has a very nice store here! Very helpful and friendly staff. Over 300 beers to choose from and you can pull from any to mix and match. The wife loves the wine selection as well! This is what Harvard’s use to be.....nice! | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 FatTony (3) Augusta, Georgia | July 28, 2008 It is always a pleasure to go to Toasts! They have a great selection of craft/micro beers and you can pick your own six-pack in order to try them all. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the owner often behind the counter. 90% of my ratings are on beer purchased here. FatTony |
