I see a lot of negative comments about this place. I've been to about every talked about Brew store in Metro Atlanta, and this place is #1, next to "Hop City". They have a HUGE! Selection, and yes the store is packed and a little disorganized, cause there's a huge flux in beers for us consumers every couple days.... If you want or haven't heard of it, they got it!

Neon festooned, old building, with a dirty, crowded interior, and no real organization. Stacks of boxes of beer all over the place. I couldn’t find an employee until I was ready to check out. For all that, the selection of beer is very respectable, with a nice import section, and some foreign beer I haven’t seen outside Total Wine. The prices are good, too. I’ll be back here, if I’m in the area.

Been going here for years, but they've only recently upped their game when it comes to craft brews. Agree with whoever said they can't touch hop city, but if you live anywhere near it, it can now officially be your go-to spot.

Right from the front door, it feels like you are walking through a maze. Definitely more of a liquor store than wine or beer. Pretty OK beer selection, but nothing special; I didn’t buy anything. It’s hard to browse because the aisles are only 3 feet wide and you are constantly about to back into a wall of bottles. Staff seemed friendly enough and fairly helpful to customers. Not really worth going to for beer, when Green’s on Buford Hwy is so close and has better prices and selection. But if you are going to sit in you car and sip your Mr. Boston purchase out of the paper bag, Toco is the place for you.

As this joint is reasonably close to a dear friend’s apartment, I thought I would stop by! Plenty of wine, liquor, and beer packed into an old-looking, somewhat dingy store. Enough varieties of beer to differentiate itself from most other stores, but it still falls way short of the selection you’d find at either Green’s or Hop City. Everything was going fine and smooth, until the one of the two cashiers began needlessly berating and arguing with me and the poor customers behind me seemingly out of nowhere. The secondary, subordinate seemed quietly apologetic for his co-worker’s appalling behavior, but not so much as to get a dose of Out-to-Lunch Cashier’s anger and gin-scented spit flecks. In fact, I was outrage enough to cancel the rest of the transaction save for the one Belgian beer I had promised the nearby friend. Get me out of here! For me, when a store is manned by worthless, disrespectful cretins, it completely overshadows all else, and while Toco Giant does have a decent selection at acceptable prices, it is less than 4 miles away from Green’s on Buford Highway, so there’s really no excuse for dealing with, let’s be honest, a lesser selection and a staff comprised entirely of miserable, hopeless tools.

This is the place to go for any kind of booze. They have a decent beer selection, plenty of micros and imports as well as single bottles. I have seen better selections, but I did find a few brewskis I have never seen before in Atlanta. The store seemed a little undermanned when I was there, but I visited on a Monday afternoon and maybe that is one of their slower times. The man who helped me at the cash register was quite efficient and fast, though; I was on my way in a short time. If they allow you to "mix a six" then this place warrants more than one return visit.

Crowded, narrow aisled package store - need to watch your elbows tro make sure you do not knock over anything. Decent selction of local micros, west coast bombers, standard Belgians, Germans and Brits - nothing to knock your socks off. Seriously lacking in the singles department - but I know the world does not cater to us beer geeks. Hit Greens if you are in the area instead. Staff is friendly enough - even opened up an extra register when the lines got backed up.

Stopped by here one day and haven’t been back. Not due to the lack of beer selection but it is just not convenient to my hood. Good selection but there are better in town. Will do in a pinch. Service is non-existent and you might get run over by a drunk college kid.

found this place on accident on the way to Greens when i took a wrong turn (one exit up on 80 and turn right you’ll run into it). A decent selection but not in any particular order, and kind of hard to locate things. the people didnt seem to know much, and there were people unstocking everywhere so i had to climb over and around boxes which was annoying. prices were comparable BUT they seem to run out of things slow as they still had rye2 and wake n bake at the beginning of june when everyone else was out of both...
