80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 Caytinator (63) Tucson, Arizona | May 13, 2013 I went here 3 times on a 4-day trip, so yeah, I liked it. The best deal is happy hour (3-6pm every day)--half price pints makes them affordable ($7 for St Bernardus on tap!). Service is pretty good, but I think it’s quicker at the bar. They have a good ambiance, it’s usually pretty busy and they have games & stuff. Selection is good - they have a lot of taps, seasonals, semi-rare beers (at least on tap). Bottled selection isn’t as good as the tap, and the bombers are overpriced. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 mike_77 (62) , Netherlands | November 30, 2012 In happy hour (3pm-6pm and after 10pm) it’s great value as the tap beers are half price. The service was always friendly and the staff had a fair knowledge of the beers they were selling. It’s quite a nice atmosphere inside away from the bright lights and sleaze of the strip. Selection was good. They had a variety of styles and 3 casks too. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 BVery (323) Burnsville, Minnesota | September 14, 2012 Fun spot in Vegas. Nice atmosphere, good service. A touch pricey. Nice beer lineup. | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 rougeau13 (67) Texas | July 8, 2012 Decent place. Pretty good selection. Pricey even for the strip. | 44 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 10/20 mkel07 (17) Brisbane, Australia | February 17, 2012 Visited at lunchtime on a Tuesday and it w very busy and noisy and overcrowded. Good tap selection although a lot of the seasonal stuff on the beer menu wasn’t longer available but they had not updated the menu. Bottled selection was less than impressive. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 knightdr (21) Valrico, Florida | October 17, 2011 In the mall area next to Aria casino. big central bar area and tables surrounding. Good selection for Vegas. Have three cask beers: had Deschutes Mirror Pond, Black Butte and Inversion IPA while I was there. Served at appropriate temperature. 3-6 happy hour: 1/2 off all beer, $1 sliders, and others. $2 oysters all day. Food was very good. | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 donttreadonme (23) Chicago, Illinois | April 2, 2010 Only open for a month when I visited, but this is a great concept and very fun place. Arrogant Bastard, Sierra Nevada Northern Harvest (?) on tap among 38 others (half standard fare, half craft).
7 second hourglasses on bar...if you can slam in time it’s free. Not sure why you’d want to slam a craft beer instead of enjoying it, I suppose a crap beer if you want to get drunk. Some Englishman slammed a low carbonation Wexfords Irish Creme style ale in 4 seconds.
The menu is high end and non-traditional pub fare, was really wanting a "grilled gourmet pretzel" but they were out of dough (it’s only been open one month). Otherwise really good foods and very creative choices.
Bar staff was friendly and fairly beer knowledgeable. |
