Nice little tap room up on a hill. Super friendly service. The bartenders were really hustling. Nice outdoor seating available too. I was there on a Friday afternoon. Would have given higher marks but only 6 beers on tap. Only two or three available for growler fills and absolutely ZERO bottles of anything available to go. I guess they are struggling to keep up with demand.

Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon/early evening. They have their own dedicated parking lot just outside of downtown Decorah. Itís up on a hill, but itís still able to be seen easily from the road. Itís fairly small on the inside with maybe twenty tables and a bar to seat 10 or so. When the wife and I got here there were 15 people in here, mostly sitting at the bar. People came in and got growler fills and a pint, and then left. I suppose thatís what a lot of their clientele are like. The bartenders that waited on me were both very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The offered flights of 4 at a time and all but one of their beers on draft were available to be included. All the beers were pretty good. It was a nice, laid back environment to sit and have beers. I would love to make it back here some day and hopefully I can. Food was not offered when I was here. No food trucks. 64 ounce growlers available in clear or amber. Only had one bottle available with a 2 case limit. They also had a couple different shaker pints and a tulip glass available.

Stopped in enroute to Montana in mid January. I have to admit I was questioning my sanity as we drove in on 2 lane icy roads at night. But this was very worthwhile -- with 8 really nice beers on tap. Friendly clientele and bar tender. Nice vibe. Worth a visit.

Worth the drive. Looks like an old Pizza Hut from the outside, but the inside is really nice and super chill. The Server was super nice and very knowledgeable. The beer was really tasty, and the merchandise was too good to pass up. Grabbed a Zeelander and Riwaken Dead Growler for home and a Sixer of PseudoSue Bombers for the beer cellar. Great time, will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Definitely not the easiest town to get to, but the brewery was easy to find at the top of a hill. It looks like it was formally a restaurant so thereís plenty of parking. Itís very clean and bright inside with a patio outside as well. They had 11 of theirs and 1 guest tap. They donít serve food but someone ordered a pizza so theyíre cool with people bringing in food. The beer I had was fantastic with the pseudo sue perhaps the best pale ale Iíve yet sampled. I went on a Sunday which seems to be a popular day for growlers but everyone was nice and friendly. The only negative is their serving beer in refridgertated glasses but when you make beer as good as pseudoSue it doesnít matter. Definielty worth the trip.

Went to the Kentucky Brunch release, was busy but they did a great job with it all. Service was good, very fair pricing and an overall cool place to hang out for the day. A bit of a drive but its worth it.

I probably picked a bad time to visit this brewery. Visited on Thursday and they were preparing for Kentucky Brunch day in two days. Only six of their beers were available during my visit. Enjoyed the ones that I could taste. Staff was very friendly. Will have to visit again.

A bit of a drive from most anywhere, but certainly worth it. The tap room is simple but comfortable - bar and a handful of tables. Staff are always friendly, prices are reasonable, and new beers are always rotating in. My favorite IA brewery hands-down.

Made the trip on down with several other MN beer fans. Had met some of the TG guys at Darkness Day and wanted to check out the brewpub. Arrived around 11am on a Saturday and was greeted by Clark and Annie. Both were very nice and helpful as we had multiple sized growlers and bottles to fill. Lots of pale and IPAís on tap. They even have a board for mixes of beers that you can order. They donít serve any food but you buy anything locally and bring it in to eat. The bar itself is pretty cool with about 6 chairs at the bar and multiple tables throughout. Several TVís too to watch games. Overall a cool experience and very nice place!

A ninety minute drive from my parents house, and one i will make every time i visit from now on. This place its simple and to the point, but they know how to make good beer, and you can sample it in $5 for four tasters, points, or growlers to take home. Friendly service, assassin on tap (if you are lucky), whatís not to love?
