Oh my what a draft selection! We started with Pliny the Elder, continued with a 120 minute IPA and then it just went on..... Great knowledgeable staff, good food and the place. A must visit if you are in San Diego.

Really nice cozy pub. Nice long bar with lots of stools. Extensive beers on tap and a great bottle selection. Food is pretty good. Only issues are the service, although efficient, is not particularly friendly. A must visit while in SD.

Iím at this place called Toronado but it doesnít feel like Toronado! Far different from the BS attitude you get in SF (which is still one of my favorite bars). These guys actually acknowledged me as I sat down, accepted my credit card for payment, and offered me an unsolicited taste of beer that I inquired about. What is this strange place again that is clearly misnamed?

We didnít eat here so canít comment on the food. The beer selection is simply world class, no other way to put it. I marked it down a notch because the bottle list on the web site did not match what they had there. Still, some great beer including Pliny on tap. The general volume of the place is loud, and a very mixed clientele which could be considered charming, at least until the person next to you asks how your wine is while youíre drinking a Hair of the Dog Adam... Still, overall, a very good and relaxed place with great beer.

Overrated. Obnoxiously loud music on a quiet Sunday evening. The draft list was okay, but there wasnít anything to get too fired up about. The food menu looked boring 10 years ago and was priced like we were in London. The crowd was a bunch of hipster twenty-somethings twiddling their phones solo. If Tiger!Tiger! could up the quality of their draft list, I wouldnít even think about going here. Major downer for my first Toronado experience.

Stopped by Toronado for lunch and a couple beer. Incredible beer menu, lots of unbelievable draft choices. Lots of incredible beer in their bottle list. Basically self serve at the bar and some people drop food off. Itís not a "nice" bar by any sense, but its clean and doesnt smell like someone pissed on the floor, so thatís a bonus.

Stopped in for a beer over the weekend. Relatively deserted for a Sunday afternoon. Neighborhood bar setup, with a similar vibe to San Franciscoís Toronado. 30-40 beers on tap, with an extensive and expensive bottle list. Friendly service. Neighborhood is urban and interesting. Great place for a craft beer lover.
