Great place to find a wide range of beers at pretty darn good prices. The thing I like best about this place is that they label their beer well, so you know what it is, it’s description, and where it came from. That is remarkably hard to find in beer store. Also, they have WiFi in the store, but refuse to give out the password to it - and, they act like a--holes while telling you no.

I love the staff up there at Total Wine, especially Matt and Bernie. I have been a big wine consumer for years, but over the last year I have bought my fair share of beers in their vast individual bottle section and 4-6 pack aisle. Their prices from wine to beer are a couple of dollars better than the local food stores with decent selections like Lowes Food and Harris Teeter. So if you are in the mood for a different beer, you can’t find a better place in the area for selection and to try something new.

Like the name of the company implies they deal mainly with wine so the store doesn’t have a beer centric look or feel. What they do have and what I am grateful for is a fairly large selection of beers in multiple locations of the store. If you cant find something in the main central beer aisle there is also a seasonal aisle and beer in the front cold display. They do offer the pick your own six pack but this can get pretty expensive really quick. Ive never talked to any of the staff about the beer but I’ve never really wanted any help. All of the quality beers I have rated (Rochefort, Stone, Bells) have come from this store and they seem to rotate these hard to find beers fairly often. When I lived in Tennessee there was nothing anywhere that could compare to the quality beer selection that they have at this store so finding this store in NC was like walking through the pearly gates.

Similar to Fine Wine here in MD. Somewhat big shop , mostly wine. Nice local selection and some not available here in MD. Prices were pretty good and nice singles selection. Wish they had more DR beers. Hard to find. Follow your GPS until it says you have arrived. It is over near REI, not visible from main street.

I think the store has a great selection. They have a lot of singles and six packs. Tons of cheap beer too. This is where I go most of the time. The inside is kind of boring, but when you see all the beer, your face lights up with joy!

Big box store, nothing fancy. Clean well lit. Big aisle for beer, though as the name says it’s more about wine. Didn’t get or ask for help so I left score in middle. It is a big selection, but I question the age of the stuff. Might of scored higher if it looked like product was moving. A lot of dust and grime on the bottles and cases that I saw. Think they have way too much stuff for a place kind of lost in the large shopping plaza that they are in.

The closest place to my house for a good selection of brews.. tons of locals and some other hard to find beers.. ive been to all the Total Wine stores in the triangle.. only a few beers differ from store to store.. overall a great place to try new stuff .. lots of singles...

Decent selection of beers, and you can buy singles there. By the way, they mis-scan EVERYONE’S order so keep that in mind. Also, the location is not always easy to get out of especially in heavy traffic. They do have some unibruoe beer that is not available anywhere else in Raleigh. If you buy by the case, they have some really good deals.

Real good selection of locals. They mis-scanned my order, so it took a while to get checked out. Worth a trip for local beer enthusiasts.

Pretty good selection of beer. Its catered more to wine drinkers, but they have a good selection of local beers and a great selection from around the world. You can make your own 6 pack.
