The Sam’s Club of alcohol! Best selection of any store I’ve ever been in. A must visit any time I’m in Fort Myers!

Finally Ft. Myers gets a good beer selection! This store is huge with an impressive selection of over 500 different beers. Everything is available in singles and the prices are better than any other store I’ve been to in Florida. Shelves are neatly organized by country making everything easy to find. Plenty of Belgians, American Micros and other European brews to satisfy the most discriminating beer geek like myself. And if you like wine, this selection can’t be topped either and at very friendly prices.

If you live in Southwest Florida, you have very few options for finding a great craft or international beer by the bottle. True beer lovers here (when not drinking their own concoctions) buy their beer from Total Wine and More or as my friends and I lovingly refer to it Alcoholics Paradise! They sell hundreds of beers by the bottle and it is the only place within 100 miles of my house where you can buy Dogfish Head 120 right out of the cooler! The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help and if they don’t have what you’re looking for they can usually order it for you. They also have a tremendous selection of liquor and wine. I can spend hours wandering the isles of this hallowed hall.

Ungodly selection of beers, wines, single malts, cigars, whatever. This place is awesome.

By far the best selection in the area. This is my go to place for beer in Fort Myers. With a lack of good beer bars in the area, a place like this is essential. There are a few drawbacks, however. The service isn’t great and the overall knowledge of beer is lacking. Another major sticking point for me is out of date beer. They consistently stock beer that is past the freshness date printed on the bottles. I’m not talking Imperial stouts, I’m talking about pilsners and IPAs - beers that shouldn’t be consumed past the point of freshness. This takes a few points away from service in my opinion. I guess it’s really up to the distributor but it still frustrates me to see undrinkable beer on the shelves. Ok, I’m done ranting. Overall, Total Wine is a good place to find beer in this area. You can’t find a better selection within 50 miles.

Nice store with pretty good selection. Mostly just wine though.

Was in Ft. Meyers and really wanted to try some Fl brews since they can be very hard to find in the North and I was pleasently surrised by their selection. Picked up a coule Cigar City beers, Florida brewing, dunedin, and a couple other breweries. Also had a nice selection of craft from all over the States. Singles and cases available, too. Really lucked out on this one and I’ll go back next time I’m down that way.
