74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 15/20 BVery (324) Burnsville, Minnesota | September 16, 2012 Terrific retail store. Huge selection, singles available, and some of the best retail prices I’ve seen. Highly recommend. | 88 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 kathouse (35) Nevada | May 16, 2012 Largets retail selection of craft beer and a very helpful staff. That said, this is still just a liquour store and not some place to hang out. Coupons increase value. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 3/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Wittales (30) Las Vegas, Nevada | February 9, 2012| Updated February 19, 2012

The good: MASSIVE selection of beers, at rock-bottom prices, including some rarities, I actually managed to snag a bottle of FW Parabola off the shelves the last time I was here. Clean, well-lit, and keeps reasonable hours. The bad: Very little is kept cold, including the higher-end IPAs, seemingly no attempt to keep their IPAs rotating, or to account for IPA freshness, nothing really turns me off than seeing a bunch of 6 month old room-temperature IPAs on the shelf... Further, service is nonexistent, as there are seemingly no staff other than the ones running the register, or ones devoted solely to the wine side of the operation. The one gentleman I encountered in the Beer Section was stocking shelves, and worked for a beer distributor rather than Total Wine, and unless I was really interested in Rogue Summer Honey (I wasn’t) then he wasn’t interested in helping me. An okay store, for a chain. |
