Sort of out of the way inside St. Johns Town Center is a sort of random part of the giant outdoor mall that destroyed hundreds of pristine pine forest. This Total Wine is pretty run-of-the-mill: massive selection of mediocre beer from all over the planet with mix and match six packs...a tickers paradise! Occasionally they will have Cigar City or something interesting. They actually stock Bold City here, though Grassroots has more. All in all, I see no reason to come here anymore considering the much tighter selection at Grassroots. Forget about getting Struise, De Dolle, BFM, or anything that fancy at Total Wine. If you are on your way to or from Jax Beach, itís worth stopping by. But if you are in Jacksonville for a quick beer trip, stay in Five Points Riverside and do Grassroots, Kickbacks, Bold City, and Intuition. There is no way they have 2,500 bottles though lol! Maybe 600. Actually, I would argue that Total Wineís selection is moderately better than any Publix in town. So...go to Publix and get subs while youíre at it.

Big box type liquor store which caters more to the wine crowd it seems. Has a solid slection for the north Florida area and offers a wide array of singles. Well sorted out by countires which is nice. Nothing too out of the ordinary here - but a good place to stock up on some singles - found about a dozen or so without looking really hard. Kind of a dark, unfriendly atmosphere. Prefer their Tampa location. Donít go out of your way for -but if in the area - stop by.

If you have been to one etc. Still a decent place to try singles.

Really nice well lit store with beer displays scattered throught out as well as a dedicated beer section with a nice selection of singles and warm and cold six packs. Huge selection of wine and liquor. Bombers and 12ozx singles. Not a ton of bombers, no real rare selections or deep lineups of any brewers.

Had some time to swing by here on a recent visit, and had high hopes of finding some Florida craft. Alas, was really disappointed with this location. Horrible layout compared to other TW branches and a pretty scattershot (at best) selection of beer. Just a smattering of Intuition and CCB (the real basics, with only Cubano Espresso Maduro being worth a purchase). Shame I didnít have time to go to Grassroots, as this was a washout.

A well-lit store with so much wine youíll go insane. My biggest complaint is that a lot of the beer is randomly scattered throughout the store and that finding the beer section is near impossible without some assistance. Just keep wondering back and to the left and youíll eventually find it.
The service was okay. We were approached a couple of times, but we didnít ask many questions besides "where is the beer section?" as we had been wondering for minutes.
The selection was fine, probably decent for Jacksonville/Florida, but nothing to phone home about.
Average to slightly high prices.
Overall, stop by if youíre in the area, but donít make it a huge deal to get out there.

A selection that blows Tennessee out of the water, staff knows little about the product, but if you have been to any Total Wineís you will mostly know what to expect.

Visited this Total Wine on a recent trip to Jacksonville, and well, it was about what I expected for a Total Wine. Most of the typical beers available at my home location were present here as well, and we were easily able to find enough beer to make it through the weekend. Spent a lot of time talking to other people shopping for beer which made the experience more enjoyable. As with most Total Wine stores, the service is the part most lacking. But overall, cannot complain with my visit to this one.

A bit hard to rate this place, as its obviously a wine store first and foremost. Iíd imagine this is heaven for a wine buff - as big as a medium supermarket with aisles and aisles of wine, even a wine tasting bar. I visited 2 days before Christmas and the whole surrounding mall area, including this store, was jam packed and heavily congested. Parking was dismal, and I had to walk quite a distance. It took me awhile to find the beer section (small compared to their wine section - a corner on the back wall), despite noticing some beer displays at the end of some aisles (mostly Chimay gift packs). Iím not sure how much beer was scattered throughout the rest of the store or whether I missed anything, but I got enough new goodies from the "main" section. Dogfish head, stoudts, JP, Rodenbach, and several other good ones, along with a variety of stuff that is not so great but was at least new to me (like an Israeli lager). I found the prices appealing, all of the above mentioned beer I bought in 750ml bottles each for less than $10. Still, this place is really a wine store than a beer store. They did offer a moderately interesting selection of gourmet foods/hors douvres.
