This is a pretty nice total wine, but the beer selection is pretty haphhazard; bottles strewn all over the place without a lot of thought into organization. That being said, they have some pretty nice bottles, including stuff from Maine Brewing and White Birch that I was a bit surprised to see. Nothing too out there, and definitely a US focused selection, but pretty good for what it is. Prices are decent.

Decent selection, lacking in many styles.

When visiting my alma mater just down the street, I’ll often stop by this location - they used to be really well stocked up on Legend brews (sometimes better than Richmond locations, and certainly better than Northern Virginia).

Okay selection of basic seasonal/micro brews with pretty good prices compared to grocery stores for the more well known beers. Nothing rare, but certainly a good array of choices. I’d rather nowadays just drive to Grape and Gourmet when I’m in town.

Typical big box beer store, this one is laid out much like the other locations... and aisle of singles and an aisle of six packs. More of an upscale shopping center than usual... I was looking for a big behemoth of a building and I missed it the first time around. A lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The employees were a touch nicer at this one.

great selection, better for vino

Much to the same comments as Tavir said. I found 6 good beers that were pretty local that i will be rating over the weekend. Nice store...love me the total wine, wish they had one in DC...Franchise Opportunity anyone.

Great selection of singles from local micros.

Big place, tons of beer, most from regional breweries and a smattering of stuff from farther afield. Prices aren’t too terrible. Not well-organized, I came across at least 4 different parts of the store that stocked beer, somewhat haphazardly, and some in a below a large window. But selection was very good. A worthwhile stop if you’re in Ghent or downtown Norfolk (and Ghent itself is worth a stop if you’re visiting downtown).

Right on par with most other Total wines in the hampton Roads area. This may be a little cheaper than va beach.

Nice, big wine store in Ghent. Good selection of craft beers. The biggest flaw that I can see is that the singles and bombers are located near a large window and are in direct sunlight for a good portion of the day. However, this is a great place to find good bargains on six packs if you know what you like. Still, no where near the selection of Grape and Gourmet in nearby Virginia Beach but a good source for beer.
