Pretty typical for a Total Wine, though smaller than I’ve seen at other locations. Plenty of parking, prices are decent. Fewer single selections than other locations and the selection was disorganized. Nothing spectacular but all the bases were covered.

A fair selection of your average craft brews. No really rare beers, but a good selection of brews that are better than macro lagers. Prices are fairly elevated. Store is very cramped. Staff not very personable. I imagine its much better for buying wine, but I don’t imagine I’ll be returning too often when there are much better places throughout Richmond.

A fair range of more common craft beer at fair prices.

Not as good a selection as the broad street location, but about on par for any other Total Wine. If you need one of the more run of the mill craft brews this is the place, but you’ll need to wander elsewhere for the rarer stuff. A bit lower in price than everywhere else, but that’s what buying power will get you. For friendlier staff and a better selection of hard to find stuff, wander out to Once Upon A Vine South.

Not as good as the West Broad location. Selection is smaller, staff was kinda bitchy, and the store itself feels more cramped. No really ’rare’ beers, but a fairly good selection of ’macro’ micros. If you’re already on the SouthSide, I’d recommend driving the extra miles over to Once Upon A Vine South.
