Extensive regional selection, singles sixes and a few coolers. Prices about average for the area. A handful of other-country ticks. Not bad if you’re in the area.

It looks like a supermarket except they sell nothing but wine and beer. As the name implies the store is about 2/3 wine and 1/3 beer. They have a nice selection of imported and craft beers and a number of large bottles. They do encourage you to make your own six pack with everything they offer as a sixer available which seems fairly unprecedented. Their selection is better than Wegman’s but only through sheer volume and not quality. Prices are very reasonable for the area.

Ambience is typical Total Wine. As is parking. Customer service is slightly better than average. The selection is disorganized like hell, though I came on a Saturday so that wasn’t doing them any favors. Good selection though, better than your typical Total Wine in quanity and even a little better in quality. Pretty good Total Wine.

This was a pleasant surprise. Visiting friends in Potomac Falls, this is their local wine merchant. Having read previous reviews, I knew this place offered a wide range of 12oz singles, and this proved to be the case. The beers came from across the USA, at decent prices and offering the full range of styles. I certainly felt no need to look at the foreign imports or six packs. having said that, this place covers all the needs of my English immigrant friend, with many Suffolk beers available. Staff were friendly and efficient at the checkout. A great shop.

Only 25% of the store is beer, and the staff is attentive, but doesn’t know anything about beer. That said, the selection is pretty much everything available in the area from a beer standpoint. It mostly sorted correctly in to categories so you can find what you are seeking. Most of their sixers are available for BYO sixer packs. In November - December they have about 20 beer gift sets from Ommegang, Troegs (Mad Elf!), among others.

They have probably the greatest selection in Loudoun County. The biggest draw for me is the ability to make your own six pack. They occasionally get some very good stuff in too. Some staff are very knowledgeable and some aren’t. Overall you can definitely find something here to quench your thirst!

Back in the day these places were called Total Beverage and they had a good to great selection of beer. Well no more. The name changed to Total Wine and so did the emphasis of the store. There are lots of beer but it is a rather uninteresting selection. The good news is that they sell tons of singles. The problem is that their quality is sometimes not so good. It is worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood but dont go out of your way for it. Of the ones in the DC area the location in Chantilly seems to have the most selection.

I love these huge megastores that we don’t have in my home state of PA. This place had rows and rows of individual bottles, then a row of six packs, a row of cases and some coolers with cold beer. Found some great stuff not available in PA and the prices were about half. Nice store, but was slightly disappointed that the VA stores didn’t sell spirits

I’m pretty happy with this store. BYO 6-pack with a decent selection (beats Norm’s big time), and good prices. Went here a few times during my visit, and I always found quite a few ones to try. They are quick to re-stock, and overall a smooth shopping experience. Highly recommended.
