Went here for a quick one on the way home. Great place, very initimate and not much room for more than about 8 people comfortably. Barman was very nice and helpful. Pints are about 1000 yen and seemed a decent if small selection. A really nice experience as it was just us and the barman. Might be a bit trying with more people there though, but will definitely be back to check it again. Well worth popping in to, if you donít mind standing up, as there are no seats.

Chuwy lead the way. Tiny bar with a small tap list. Nice bar owner. Beers arenít the most exciting but canít be sure how often new stuff gets put on. Decent prices. It was comfortable with only four of us in the bar, but it was an early week day. Worth a visit for a cool experience in Tokyo,.

TimE took me here, a little place near Tokyo station. A small standing room only bar. They supposedly close at 6PM, but seemed to be thriving when we left at 6:45PM on Sat. Pretty cool place. Nice tap selection of Japanese micros. An empty bottle of Supplication in the background from the ownerís recent trip to California. Iíd liked it. It would be a nice local place to hang out.

Tiny standing bar offering a few rare craft beers from Japan. The Master was friendly and spoke enough english that we were able to converse a little. There were six of us when I first arrived which was about all you can fit comfortably at the bar, but by the time I left we were standing two deep which left little room to move around. In addition ot the friendly master the patrons were also very open to conversation and made for a pleasant visit. Had four regular brews with another six or so that rotated. Also has a hand pump offering. Very reasonably priced, especially for Tokyo. I would be a regular if I lived in Tokyo.

A standing bar that uses the sidewalk as its patio. Always more people than the six or seven the bar can hold. This guy manages to get quit a few Baird seasonals which is nice, but the owner is not very prudent at keeping up supplies, meaning when you visit donít be suprised if half taps are empty. Prices are cheap because it is a standing bar. Not worth a special trip, but a good place to hang out with some locals.
Take Yeasu South exit from Tokyo station. Walk down Sotobori past Pan Pacific Hotel to first major intersection. Turn left and cross Sotobori and walk one block and you will see a Kinkos on your right hand side. It is right around the corner from Kinkos (good chance you will see businessmen drinking Hoegaarden on the sidewalk in front of the place).
Rerate (2007/10/03) - The supply problem seems to be disappearing (though they were out of Boddingtons today, so one mark higher?) and the vareity of beer increasing. Several beers they have put in recently are only avialable in Tokyo on draft at Towers. Still cheapest Baird in Tokyo for 800 yen/pint of regular and seasonals.
