With a hame like trappist house, I had high hopes. This is a decent belgian bar with nice beers available but nothing too extensive. Come here with friends but there are better bars with binders full of beers.

Good selection with plenty information, nice ambience, clean and friendly. My wife lost her purse her and when she returned two days later, the staff recognised her and produced it, cards and money intact, Bless them! Free snacks on table, excellent beer, mixed clientele, wood & brick interior, nice experience.

Good beer list, knowledgeable owner. Crappy service, probably because the place is understaffed: usually one (!) guy serving the whole place which is about 120 persons at maximum capacity, while the owner stays behind the bar. Good ambiance, although it used to be always very smoky. But I havenít been there since the no-smoking law is in order. Hope itís better now! Prices are rather high (4.5Ä for a Rodenbach Grand Cru, real geuzes start at around 7 and go up till 11 for 37.5cl). Snacks are way overpriced. A good place for a drink or two, but not for the whole night, unless money is no problem to you.

Bar in the heart of Gentís (modest) red light district. Curious blend of old and new decor lends a disjointed atmosphere. Good beer menu with a healthy selection. Service was prompt and friendly, even exchanging a bottle that weíd drunkenly ordered by mistake.

Nice bar in the Red Light District with a reasonable selection of beers at ok prices (for Gent). Does , however, smell of the sewers

I have visited this place a few times. There is a nice selection of beers, but I noticed last week their list is getting shorter and shorter. In the past there were much more beers on the menu.

The looks from the outside arenít great, on the inside it is cosy. The selection isnít great, but not bad for regular tasters. The prices are high. Expected more from this one for sure.

a good beer bar, but the place feels a bit old and dusty. Selection is quite allright, but not as good as other specialised bars in Gent
