Good atmosphere. Relaxed and laid back. Good tap selection and a large and good bottle list. Mix of both Swedish and foreign beers. As the name indicates, consists of small rooms. Low music, carpet on the walls. A very good pub.

Oh my godness. What a great place.
Lovely friendly staff. Outstanding bottle selection. Nice tap selection also.
Highly recomendable place!
Nice location in the city centre. The only drawback is that they close to early!

Cozy place if you neglect the plastic signs saying it’s a Carlsberg free zone. The message is great but the signs makes the place feel a bit tacky. The other rooms are better with persian carpets on the walls.
Has a nice selection of beers, both on tap and bottle but the prices felt a bit higher than average. Has a nice selection of vegetarian food but the burgers were pretty boring.

Wow... This place is a "must visit" if you are in Gothenburg! Persian carpets in abundance! Not far out of the city centre and packed with an amazing selection of tap beers and super friendly "beer knowledgable" staff. The decor is very special and rather homely. As I sit here at my bar stool I don’t want to leave and I’m already planning my return trip. You Swedes are so lucky to have a place like this. Please take care of it!

A café for beer geeks. The perfect place when you want to enjoy a beer in a nice relaxed atmosphere created by friendliness, damp lights and jazz music. Interesting and varied beers on tap combined with a good bottle assortment. The proprietor is friendly and knows what he’s talking about. Still there is something that makes this cozy beer heaven a bit too pretentious for me...

Updated after my latest visit on August 31, 2013.
Age limit is 20 years, ID might be required if asked for. Last call 45 min before closing.
Patio outside in summer season only. Kids allowed but no strollers/baby carriages due to laws from the fire department.
19 taps installed where 18 are currently connected, the last one is for planned future use. Usually max 150 bottles available, see the large cabinet to the right when you come down from the stairs.
Pretty much the best place in Göteborg I’d say, if you want local or micro/craft beer and not get the average drinking crowd. Mellow, often fairly quiet place. I visit frequently and might be biased by the friendship I have with the owner, but I still recommend this place to everyone and anyone who’s looking for some good/great/unusual beers and super good service.
Centrally located, easy to get to by going to tram/bus stop "Valand" and then a short walk.
Basement location, so phone/wireless internet connection not great, but with the beer selection and rating on paper, who needs reception?
Not that cheap any more, but then again I’m willing to pay for quality.
Cash and cards both well accepted. Mainly soft jazz music from the speakers at a low volume.
I’ve been going pretty often since 2007 or 2008 or so, don’t remember, but many times per month I’m there and have only good things to say about the owner, the staff and the place itself. Don’t expect much lagers though, I believe there’s sometimes one. Also wine selection is not what you should go for. No hard spirits available at all, nor a wide selection of soda/pop/soft drinks, I think one kind of soda and one kind of mineral water. But hey, did I mention there’s tons of awesome beers?

Excellent selection on both tap and bottle. The place is small but there are tables outside and the whether was great when I visited. They are very fanatic about not selling any commercial products, which unfortunately means that they have no soda, which was really bad for me since I often travel with my son. My family had to go to The Flying Barrel across the street instead, while I had the most important beers quickly. I could have stayed a lot longer if only they had found a non-commercial supplier of soda.
