Nice British pub vibe, with good real ales on tap. Bartender knew what he was doing. Crowd was a little odd on a weekend afternoon, hanging around for the football, but a decent change of pace for Rome.
Stayed a few blocks away on our visit. This was more of an English bar that featured 5 "Real Ales" and actually had Sierra Nevada on tap when I was there. A mix of English styles with a couple American beers and a couple of European beers on tap. Old wood atmosphere, cramped a bit, but cozy. Italy in general doesn’t seem to adopt ice cold taps even if the climate really could use it! But for the beers being served here, for the most part, the cellar temp was fine.
Bel posto a 2 passi dal Colosseo ottima selezione di birre ottimo il servizio e il cibo di buona qualità ambiente veramente coinvolgente !!!

Located on Via Capo d’Africa, just a short walk from the Coliseum, Tree folk’s is a popular hangout for locals with a younger crowd on the weekends, This bar has a good selection of beer on tap (13) & by the bottle, (?) cant remember, Mostly Belgian & German Brews including a healthy selection of Scotch as well. I had a Aecht Gehlenferla Rauchbier which was quite tasty, The food is German-style pub fare. Although most restaurants in the area have a growing selection of craft beer, Tree folk’s stands out just a little more in having more unique Belgian & German Brews. I will defiantly go back next time when in Rome. make sure you brush up on your Italian, as English is not commonly spoken or understood.
