After reading reviews saying this place is a dive I had not planned on checking it out. However I stumbled across it after dinner on a Friday night. This may be a dive by the standards of a high end gig city neighborhood like TriBeCa, however, not for anywhere else. Really cool dark interior with a brick wall on one side and red lighting. The $7-8 price tag for beers, although robbery in the Twin Cities is a "bargain" for NYC. Selection is good enough. Not a go out of your way type of place but certainly not an avoid place.

Old style American bar with plenty of beers on tap and bottle. Even a few on cask.
Very kind service, but my dogfish head 60 minute IPA was served without glass!!!
No way I am drinking world class beer out of the bottle. On request a glass arrived immidiately, though.
