Excellent place to visit and enjoy good beer. Everything is about the beer -- food is to support but was also of very good quality with a deliberately limited kitchen (Order at the counter). Service was excellent and everyone was friendly. Draft selection also very good -- all of the regulars with 5 Scratch taps + seasonals. Only problem I had was that I couldn’t stay longer. A place for people who enjoy beer. If you don’t like this place you shouldn’t be on ratebeer.

Did the paid tour with samples. Tour guide was very informative and entertaining. The brewery is crazy well laid out for touring, both self and guided. Very impressed. In the large bar/food area ordered the giant pretzel (do it!) and some pints. Very great experience, wish we had this here. Keep it up Troegs!

The new brewery is very impressive, like the tasting room. Troegs is one of my favorite beers and they have one of the best beer T-shirt selection in the US. For sure the No.1 landmark in Harrisburg/Hershey.

awesome. basically just a little gift shop but with a small bar in which they are more then happy to provide multiple troegs products. Got a chance to try some rare single batch they made. Tour is pretty standard but neat to learn how troegs came together. only thing i didn’t like was i thought the cases should have been cheaper i mean they make them right there and they were the same price as the distributors.

I love Troegs. With a recently expanded tasting room, this place is a blast. Awesome tasting bar, awesome swag, and good deals on their beer. How many places can you regularly go, taste a full line up of their great beers, and score a case of limited-brewery-only release awesomeness (Scratch series)? This place is just great. Good decor, good prices, nice tasting set up, and a very friendly atmosphere. A great stop.

While I miss the convenience of the old Harrisburg location, the new Hershey tasting room is a huge improvement. They recently began offering sandwiches ... I N/A’d food in the ratings because I have not been there since they added food. But if they are as good as they sound in the description I have seen, then they will be a very nice addition. The new room is very large, and I would not be surprised if they eventually evolve the location into more of a full brewpub with longer hours and more food to take advantage of the tourist and post concert/game traffic in Hershey. As for the beer, well, it is fresh Troegs ... what more needs be said. I am guessing some might rate them low on selection because all they offer is Troegs beers. But the brothers brew some of the best beers I have tried from any brewery. There’s nary a dud in the regular lineup and it is rare that I don’t enjoy their one-off scratch series offerings. As close as I might come to a complaint would be a wish that Nugget Nectar be available year around. In giving them the max rating on selection, I take into consideration that I would not judge a brewery’s tasting room the same way I might a beer bar or store. Two thumbs way up.

It’s a must stop if you are in the area. they have some snacks to eat if you stop, but don’t think it’s something to fill yourself on. I went on a Sat and it was pretzel Sat, 5 soft pretzels for 2$. They tell you food is not their thing their heart is making beer. But you can sample till the taps close.

I figure since I have visited this place about 100 times since they opened over a year ago it might be time to sit down and actually write up a review.

The atmosphere is hard to describe. The space is huge with people sitting all over the place. The large bar area and the big beer hall table seem to be peoples favorites, with the outside seating area getting a lot of use in the warmer weather months. The walking tour is a really cool feature and the general store sells any and all things Troegs for people looking for some swag or to buy some beer to go, just be aware that the general store closes before the bar area does.

The service has been hit or miss since the day they opened. I used to have to wait a LONG time to get even the simplest of service but I have to say it has definitely improved over the last few months. The wait times have become shorter and they have finally hired some people who know what they are talking about...

The quality is top notch. The beers are, for the most part, world class and the food is all made with the highest grade ingredients. They use all the correct glasses and they have a counter pressure filler for growlers, however they will still fill screw tops off the taps.

The selection is what you would expect for a brewery. They have their six flagship, year round beers on at all times to go along with a few of the seasonal offerings. They also usually have at least one scratch beer on, sometimes up to 3-4 depending on how fast they are selling / making them.

The snack bar is a new thing they have been doing for the last six or so months. They offer quite a few different things to eat, enough to satisfy most picky diners. I have tried about 2/3 of the menu now, altho it is ever changing, and it is all excellent. A few of my current favorites would include the large brewers pretzel, the pork confit tacos and the crispy pork belly. The prices at the snack bar are a little high for my taste but most of the items are worth it.

Overall a HUGE upgrade over the old harrisburg location and a welcome addition to the area. I look forward to visiting the brewery for many years to come.
