Went here for breakfast a couple days after passing in on a walk around the area near Earth while waiting for it to open once we got into Philly. Saw the 130 bottle claim and thought this could make a great place for breakfast and maybe a beer. Ugh. Quite wrong on that front. To begin, we walked in and made a full trip around the place trying to find someone to seat us as there was no one at the seating area, and no signage. Walked past close to ten employees who gave us no heed, and it was not until we started a second lap that a customer finally helped us out and called someone to seat us. Got a table and while the place was doing a brisk business it wasnít slammed. Service didnít reflect that though and was quite slow. Ordered what I order at almost every diner, 2 eggs, homefries, toast. A universal measure of a good breakfast place. My potatoes were under seasoned, dry, burnt, and yet still had pieces not fully cooked. The eggs sat too long and yolks that should have runÖ didnít. The toast wasnít hot enough to melt the butter which tells me our order came up, and just sat for five minutes. Waitress didnít stop in to check on us until we were almost done, and then it was just to drop off our check. Only after that did she come back to refill my wifeís coffee and even that seemed like an afterthought. On the plus side, they have free wifi. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
