Good ’old’ Turbinenbräu. They were amazing when they started out and the people working there are still some of the best I know. They’re so friendly, nice and they love what they do.
The problem is, though, that their beers are just not that great anymore, given the competition of other micro to medium breweries in Switzerland.
But because their permanent beers are so well known now they obviously can’t change them. We gotta give the people what they like, right?
They have very good seasonal brews though, some of them were quite excellent and show that their brewers really know what they’re doing.
For reasons of sympathy and also respect for how they started out I upped my rating by a good 10 points.
Oh and they provice excellent services for people that need beer for a small to medium event. You can always just bring back what you didn’t "sell" and get your money back. No risk on your side!

Sales outlet(wharehouse)/" hang around bar" a stretch outside the city. 30 minutes walk from Steinfels. Arrived at 19.10- then it was closed but still crowded outside with people haning arond outside the wharehouse with their crates of beer bought at the place. The bartender was kind enough to give me a free beer, as I had a long walk getting there. Quite young alternative crowd at the place, the smell of "alternative tobacco" very obvious.
4 different beers available, including Sprint which is also available at other places.
I dont know if I should recommend it, cool beer place (not many of those in Zurich), but a strech outside centrum ( but tram 2, then change to tram 3 (somewhere) will get you there in 10 minutes

open, airy modern bar. Fairly drab and some what chain feel to it. No service in English, but the elderly waitress were fast and efficient. A bit of a trek from the center of town. I went cause I wanted a bike ride on a nice day- if you don’t share my motivation I wouldn’t bother for the lackluster beer.
