Nice place in the small town of Den Burg. Lots of locals inside. Quite nice selection of beers. Service was moderate, as they basicly have no knowledge of the (new) beers they have. Mostly it was the Texelse brew from tap, which was poured for the locals. But they had a couple of Emelisse and de Molen specials, and some American brews. Plus one of their three own brews available.

Great pub and restaurant on Texel, an island dominated by Texelse Brouwerij. This pub has some Texelse beer, of course, but they have much more to offer than that. It has a wide, truly interesting selection with some of the best Dutch breweries (De Molen, yeah) and good internationals, even American. The atmosphere is nice and especially in wintertime quite local. One of the so many reasons to visit Texel.

Excellent place to beer and have a nice meal. They organize every month a beertatsing too, with an excepional offering of all kind of beers out of the Netherlands and the rest of Europe, even the States is frequently present. The have once a year there own beer a honey porter "Zwarte Schaap"
