Atlanta’s newest brewpub is a winner! The parking leaves something to be desired, but fortunately they are just two blocks from the Decatur MARTA (rapid rail) station. This is a billiards-oriented bar, but you don’t have to be a pool nut to enjoy this place. Food is decent, but the main attraction is the beers they brew - and they are darned good! It is a great place to meet with friends, from just one or two up to a large crowd.

I had to rerate this place! My next visit was over a year later. The food is still great, the habenero wings were HOT! The beers were GREAT! The Honest Lender Cask with cinnamon was awesome. and the smoked dunkel weizen was top notch! A great place!!! Sara was our server and she was awesome. Very nice and accomadating. The food was great, we got 2 diff. types of wings, the jerk was more sweet but very good. The nachos were great as was the hummus and pita. The house beer is good, not spectacular, the pale ale was my favorite. We did try the ginger pale ale and it was way too ’gingery’. But the other beer selection is decent. I’d go back next time i’m in town.

I had my first visit to Twain’s over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The selection isn’t the same huge list that you can get walking distance away at Brick Store, but this might be a little cooler place to hang out. The place doesn’t look as cool as Brick Store, but if you’re hanging out with friends, this place has more to do than just eating and drinking. There’s plenty of pool tables, darts and a couple of shuffle board tables, making this a good place to hang out, especially if you like good beer. The beer list is smaller, but still has a high quality and variety of beers available on tap and in the bottle. The service is good. The food is typical bar grub of decent quality. Great place.

Loved Twains the several times I’ve been. They make some very good and interesting beers at times. While I have not ate there, the food looks very nice. The scene is always a good time. Really can’t go wrong and if you are into ticking you might very well get to add new ratings each and every time you go there.

I also think this was my favorite Atlanta brewpub. The atmosphere is great. It’s just really relaxed, the service is excellent, and there are a lot of fun games. It’s cool seeing people kick back and have a good time. Very diverse crowd. Laid-back, lived-in, and roomy. Local bands play here too. The variety and quality of the beers would keep me coming back to Twain’s.

This is pub has a fun atmosphere with tons of bar games and a fairly wide open floor space. The bartender was bubbly, enthusiastic, and very helpful. I found the beers I tried to be of above average quality. It’s great to have another reason to make visit Decatur when I’m in the ATL region.

Great atmosphere, solid list of beers (both their own brews and others), solid menu. A big, fun place to hang with friends on any given night, with all sorts of bar games to offer distraction as needed. Recommended if you’re looking for a place to kick back with a group of friends and play and drink the night away.

Fun place. Big and open with a lot of different games, like shuffleboard and bubble hockey. Wide range of house beers was fairly inventive and generally well-made. Twain’s was the top brewpub in ATL in my book, for both atmosphere and beer selection.

Great place in a great location. Good selection of their own brew. Lineup spans several styles and they often have a cask brew. Chili was excellent, fish and chips were so-so. Plenty of pool tables. Helpful and friendly staff. Another great beer location in Decatur.

A nice, funky spot in Decatur w/ 7+ taps of house beer, tons of pool tables, dart boards, and video games. Decor is part bowling alley and part McMenamin’s-style in the Pac NW. Bar service was a little slow, but accomodating. Didn’t try any food, but full menu available.
