Large brewpub with plenty of dart boards, pool and shuffleboard tables. A large wooden bar up front with some booths surrounding. Service has always been solid on my visits. Food is good but nothing special. Usually about ten taps available with some bottles from other breweries. Prices are nice and samplers are available.

Open restaurant area up front, with the games in the back. Great, hopping vibe, and a lot of fun. The bartenders were seriously overworked, but kept up well enough. Nice lineup of house beers, and a full range of craft and non-profit bottles and cans. The food was fair, at least. The pool tables and house brews are the highlight. I’m looking forward to returning.

Visited later evening on a Wednesday. Located in Decatur, just around the corner from the main town center and the MARTA station. Large, open restaurant layout up front with tables straight ahead and to the right, and a large bar to the left. In the expansive back is a variety games tables; billiard, darts, video games, etc. 9 of their own beers on draft, full food menu. Beers are offered as 12 oz, 20 oz, pitcher or tasters (5 for $10, 9 for $18). Service was initially attentive, then more or less disappeared to talking to a friend at the other end of the bar. I was unable to get the back of his head’s attention, got tired of waiting for my bill, and just left what I hoped was enough to cover my beers. It wasn’t busy - there were three people seated at the bar, one of which was the friend he was talking to. Annoying.

70 = ★★˝ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Only had their beer on tap, which is cool if it is awesome. They all had a similar taste to them, so...The service was great. The ambiance felt a little too much like a college frat boy hangout and was a bit loud. There were tons of small children in there though. While the beers weren’t spectacular, the pricing reflected the value.

Visited here in November ’13. Great atmosphere with plenty of pool tables and other fun and games. Had about a dozen or more of their beers on tap, all were exceptional and very reasonably priced. Only had a appetizer (Macaroni and Cheese fritters) and it was exceptional. Very prompt, friendly service. Will return again when in the Atlanta area.

Large brewpub in cool area of Decatur. Lots of games such as pool and darts with tables spread throughout. Sat at the bar and had a sampler which was a decent deal. Beers were about average with a couple of nice rye beers. Got the burger which was good but bacon was soggy and the garlic fries were a greasy mess. They have nice bar selection too. Cool place to drink and have fun with a group. As a beer destination only though it is nothing great but I would definitely go back.

Huge place, bar up front, and lots of pool table in several rooms, plus other games. The beers were very tasty, but there was plenty of Bud Light being served, fo those who don’t like flavor in their beer. Food was good, service was good. Definitely should be on your list of places to visit while in Decatur.

Big space, that wasn’t overly crowded. Lots of games, darts, pool, etc. Friendly service, decent wings. Interesting list of house made beer with a solid bottle selection as well. Worth a stop.

Twains was good although very busy, difficult to look after so many people. although thats not a terrible problem to have, lots going on there, pool tables, other pub games, pretty loud but a nice crowd in there, I have to come back to see what it’s like on a quiter night. Beef jerky for am appetizer, great stuff!

Loved Twains the several times I’ve been. They make some very good and interesting beers at times. While I have not ate there, the food looks very nice. The scene is always a good time. Really can’t go wrong and if you are into ticking you might very well get to add new ratings each and every time you go there.
