82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Brouwerij (16) Boulder, Colorado | October 31, 2012| Updated November 2, 2012 Neat tap room with ample seating (they expanded!). A bar plus 15-20 small tables. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Good variety of beers, both standard and seasonal. They don’t appear to have any guest beers from other brewers. I didn’t eat, so I cannot comment on the food. The taster "flight" is a pretty sweet deal, Five 5 oz. samplers of any of their beer for only $8. A good place to grab a beer. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Ratman197 (125) Arvada, Colorado | July 11, 2012| Updated November 2, 2012 Nice little homey pub considering it’s in the PRB. The service is good at least at the bar and the styaff seems knowledgeable about the beer. The selection is decent at around 10 house beers, but most are just average drinking beers. The food ios okay sandwiches, chips and salsa etc. Put they are cheaply priced. Overall it’s a decent value for your dollar, but not worth going out of your way for. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 onceblind (66) Denver, Colorado | November 5, 2011| Updated November 2, 2012 Smallish tasting room for a brewery that distributes in 11 states, reminds me of a college dorm. reggae music and tv’s on sports channels? Trying a little hard to bring in the CU students I believe. 15 beers on tap is nothing to thumb my nose at, but only about half of them are worth the while. The other half arent bad, per se, just kinda standard or unsuprising. Didn’t try the food, though it certainly smelled good. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 Sammy (464) Toronto, Ontario | February 10, 2011| Updated November 2, 2012 The place surprised me, its really small but there were several pluses: a few off-the-wall beers, I missed an attempt at a sour, but they had three chile beers on tap, one which had great flavour (silly billy). They also had on a decent barleywine. The other beers were almost all average. Loved the tap handles that were part of a 1860’s saloon theme. Service was handled by a confident lady who was alert to everything and any beer you wanted. The sampler tray was all layed out for up to 15 beers (I tried 10) with 4 ounce pours in solid glasses. People were friendly at the bar. A good time. | 98 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 texasbudd (10) | January 29, 2011 Great find! | 68 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 adnielsen (325) Fort Collins, Colorado | October 13, 2010 Lots and lots of beers to try here- when I visited there was 15 or so of their own beers. Of course, their beers aren’t all that great. The atmosphere kinda sucks. Worth a trip if you’re going on a Boulder beer tour. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 slimchill (88) Austin, Texas | April 28, 2010 Very nice atmosphere and solid brew. Friendly staff, the owner(?) even came out to say hello after finding out that we were from Austin, where Twisted Pine was about to begin distribution. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20 KAggie97 (220) Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas | October 28, 2009 Nice place with a pretty decent atmosphere. Service was great and the sampler options are sure to please just about anyone. Too bad the beer isn’t all that good. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 PaulUnwin (96) Pinellas Park, Florida | September 1, 2009 DEcent enough place, the beer was also okay. I do like dogs, but after a couple of fights and constant barking, I did get a bit fed up of it!! Their beers were not too bold, but well drinkable. Worth a look if you are in town. | 50 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 3fourths (1082) Straßgiech, Germany | April 14, 2009| Updated January 21, 2013 The tasting room reminds me of a college dorm. Beer quality is consistently poor. Prices are reasonable, happy hour discounts are frequent. I don’t go here often. |
