76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 14/20
No reservations unless it is a special event, as far as I know. Has a full bar. Thereís a speakeasy side with pool tables, couches, etc and a restaurant side. Beer selection is phenomenal. Draft list changes and they have the planned rotation order right on the menu for things like the Allagash Fluxus/Confluence, etc. Awesome bottle selection. Only complaint is that they donít really change their flights (other than the seasonal).
Food is absolutely fantastic. The seared tuna appetizer is out of this world. The sausage "corn dogs" are amazing, as is the mustard that comes with them. The pork belly sandwich is the greatest bacon dish I have ever put in my mouth. Iíve yet to find one bad thing on the menu. Or even one mediocre thing. Theyíve really nailed it.
Friday nights expect a wait, definitely. Wednesdays are packed as well since they run tastings (and I think they have a Randall up and running). Service can be hit-or-miss. Itís never terrible, but I have gotten the feeling on a few visits that our waitress was way over-committed. Sometimes they might seem slightly chilly, but they are never rude - it just gets slammed and often they have to worry about getting people seated/fed/out the door in time for a DPAC show.
Beer prices are middle of the road. Not too extravagant for the most part. Food prices are spot-on, for the quality and quantity you get.

Tylerís is a huge place located in what looks like a former warehouse type space. I found parking on the street in front. They have a huge bar area and a huge dining area and a huge area with pool tables and massive tv monitors. The taps were full of local goodness and the odd rarity. (Like Fluxus 2012) the food was very tasty especially the Mac and cheese to which you can add up to 7 additional toppings. I donít know how much beer knowledge the bartenders have but they were friendly and effieicient. I canít wait to visit the other locations.

Nice place that even when it seems like its going to be crowded, they still find you a table. The beers are a nice selection the food is solid for drinking. They donít rush you to eat to turn the table over which I like. The beer is relatively cheap as well.

Very large space with super high ceilings within the Seaboard Station complex. Havenít had a lot of time to explore, but they seemed to have tables with taps built into them on St. Patricks Day (not sure if they have this all the time), but I had never seen that around here. Large, pretty good selection. Occassional great offerings, like Tilquin Gueuze I had the other night, but for the most part itís just a little above average for these parts which always leaves me a little disappointed. Food is same old Tylers grub. Mediocre bar food. Service is fine.

Interesting setup in here. Very broad and open space with lots of brick. Looks like a lot went into it. Tons of handles with nothing in particular I ever really want. Still an interesting selection and a great resource for those who are entering the beer scene. I wish there was a better way to tell what was on all 80 handles. Checking the taps isnít feasible and the menu doesnít seem to cover the full gamut.

Pleased to visit with a group within 48 hours or so of the long-awaited opening. This is a fantastic location, situated in the same complex as 18 Seaboard and Betskiís for those who donít want Tylers grub (which is solid, as with the other locations). Space is about midway between the Carrboro and Durham locations, high ceilings, wood decor and walls everywhere. Here there are even a few bar tables with miniature tap arrays (4 or 5, Fat Tire and the like) for you to glug away at will. But the range of seasonals, locals, US craft, and imports is on par with the other locations. Raleigh just got miles better for beer.
