Nice atmosphere. They unfortunately had only 2 of their beers, which are good. Haven’t tryed food, but it looked good. Sevice is fine, little bit slow, but there were many guests. It’s worth visiting if you don’t want to go too far from city center.
Great traditional Czech restaurant/microbrewery! Central location, very fresh beer (but limited selection), amazing food, good prices. A must visit when in Prague!
P.S: Ask for the brewery tour upstairs and make sure to try Little Bear (very nice, clean honey beer) if available.
Don’t bother coming here... If you want to taste their beer, buy it in their shop and leave! As fast as you can!
Staff is unfriendly, unreachable, sometimes just ignoring you completely. Of course no bill is written at the end, you just receive the sum you need to pay without any details so watch out for that one.
Food was good but it took them 1.5h to deliver it and of course it was mostly cold by that time. The weirdest of all things is that you can’t buy their own bloody beer... you must get it in the bar or in the shop says the waiter. But they don’t want to sell it there for some reason. Tried a few times without success but I’ve seen a few bottles around the restaurant so it is possible... somehow. Worst experience in Prague by far. Avoid!
The ambiance is nice, old style restaurant/brewery with old brewing equipment.
If you are looking for a decent czech meal in a crowded and quite noisy environment this is one of the places you could go to. The beer selection is surprisingly poor with only two beers on tap and some on bottle. The brewery is in the same building so it is very surprising that they aren’t selling more of their own.
Restaurant looks nice, if you can handle a noisy place. Selection is shockingly limited, only two of their beers were available (bottled!) while another one that was on the menu was unavailable. They serve Bud from tap, but if I wanted to drink Bud I wouldn’t have come all the way to Prague. Service was terrible, unfriendly waiters who seem to to hate life itself. When I gave less than a 15% tip I got a cold stare. At least the food was okay. I’m sorry, but I cannot recommend the restaurant. I just learned that the brewery is better, but they should make it easier to find.
First! donot sit in downstairs restaurant if you look for the brewery.!, Brewery is at the very back and second floor.
they have relativley less tables but you can drink your beer while the brewer making the beer in front of you.. Not for real beer lovers because it’s a little hot and smells wort.
Tasted all available beers, all fo them was fine to good.. Triedalso X33 which claimed as the strongest beer (which comes only from malt) in the world.
Place is the the old city center and aslo another good spot for beer-travellers.
