We visited 24.11.2013. Was our first Tankovna pub during our beer journey. Pilsner Urquell does taste so much better unpasteurized and the dense foam top does make it look also so much more delicious. Small pub on the basement and a larger, typical Czech beer restaurant in the cellar, nice pictures on the wall showing the old Pilsner brewery. Unfortunately no possibility to get a view on the beer tanks. Definitely recommend to come here.

in my opinion this the 2nd best tank pub for the urquell... yes itís true nothing special can be seeing here but the beer is very good and we had a fantastic grilled meat so what else can you ask from a "pub" ???The upstairs area is more for the beer ; downstairs more restaurant

Good PIlsner tank pub. Nice if you are thirsty while visiting this area, but not really worth a detour. Nothing special to see here.

Close to Rudolfinum concert hall, nice beer hall in the cellar. The tankovna Urquell is one of the freshest in the city. Different clientel, mostly non tourists.

Considering the area, this is a surprisingly unspoilt tourist-free haven. Excellent tankovna Urquell. Lots of smoke in the street level bar though

Went in on my mateís urging to get out of a sudden rain shower. Pilsner Urquell was pretty tasty, but thatís about it. Itís all right, with a rather old-style beer hall feel. Not worth going for the beer--just go if you like old Czech neighborhood beer joints.

Nice enough place, though not really worth going out of your way for, as there was no unfiltered Pilsner Urquell to speak of. Service was a little brusque, but attentive.

Qute unspoilt, semi-traditional beer-hall in the center of Prague, sorrounded by tourist-traps..... Good for a short break!

Nice place close to U Medvidku and the bridge. Only a few beers BUT they got the Tank Pilsner Urquell. Rather large place. In the cellar food is being served. We managed to find a spot by the window and of course we had to taste more than 0,5cl Urquell. One of the few places outside of Plzen to taste the Tank Urquell!
