We visited 23.11.2013. Nothing special, they have Kozel, Urqell and Birell. Main room has a nice ceiling and open fire place. Service slow, food ok. Waitress tried to charge us 15% service fee as they realized we had US friends with us. Only place in Prague where that happened to us. Therefore overall do not recommend this place!

Standard Pilsner Urquell restaurant, clean and touristy and rather ordinary.

Used to visit this place on every visit to Prague some years ago. The interior in the basement beer hall have to be admired, great ambience as well. Food and service are ok, but they tend to do the trick with the calculator when you are handed the bill.
Avoid, or if you go, please ask for the printed receipt.

Overrated, pricey and awful staff. With so many over options in the centre of Prague there are no compelling reasons to go here.

Huge, sometimes noisy and crowded beer-hall in the heart of Stare Město; NOT serving UNFILTERED Pilsner Urquell!! But here You’ve the opportunity to sample the Master 18°. Good for a short break, to spend the whole evening there could be stressful......

Typical wide dark restaurant. Wide inside with many tables and places to seat. Rather noisy with music and maxi-tv. Discreet selection of beers, mostly Czech. Optimal the choice of foods, much wide menu with truly typical and local plates. Kindly staff and fast service.

Cool and large pub and restaurant close to Medvidku. Tank Urquell and Master 18 avaliable. Upstairs are the most passionate beer area. Downstairs more noize and touristy. A nice pop in for a couple of delicious beers and some decent meals.

U Vejvodů was a cool place, which from the entrance doesn’t look like much. It’s very small when you first get in, and high-stools and tables a chattered around, as well as normal seats and tables. The bar has the top of a cobber-kettle above the guy, who’s just is merely to pour the perfect pint everytime. But as your walk further down to the end of the room, you are chocked to see, that just around the corner is a dining area suitable for around 200-300 persones - it’s HUGE. The bees is Pilsner Urquell (Czeck brewed) partly from tanks (Tanku) and major brands are bottled. The service is great and the food is fresh and good (if you are into Czech cuisine, which I am). But beware the pretzels are not free - but the beer is extremely cheap only €1,20 for a pint of excellent conditioned and fresh pilsner.
