Small, but welcoming. The selection of beers is top notch. The taps are constantly rotating rarities. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love this place. This is one of the reasons why I wish I didnít move from Northern Seattle.

A great little place with an excellent selection of taps and all kinds of bottles, including some you donít see even in Seattle very often. Bartender was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Just go!

Awesome new addition to the already sick Seattle pub scene. Two blocks up from the impressive Duck Island, Uber is a similar laid-back hole in the wall. Itís a pure beer geek joint, too, with a massive fridge full of cool bottles and some great draft selections. I noticed I was having a hard time finding anything sessionable except for a few Germans, though. But seriously, tons of great beers and yet another canít-miss place in a city that is overflowing with canít-miss places.

This place is a great new addition to the Seattle beer scene, just a block up Aurora from the Duck Island. They have a great list of beer, both on tap and in bottles, with good prices and changing selection. Best of all, they seem to get beers not readily available in WA such as Alesmith and Old Lompoc. The space is clean and well-lit, nicely painted, with a central fireplace that will be nice in winter. No food, but you can get a medium 1-topping pizza delivered to you for $4. The service there is great! The barkeep is friendly and knowledgeable, great guy to talk to. Overall a wonderful new bar and bottle shop.

Finally made it in to check this place out...just an incredible place. A great selection, as has been pointed out. I had a Salopian Entire Butt Porter on draft, a Walking Man Saazsquatch, which they say is "the only keg in WA", a Scotch de Silly, a HeíBrew Genesis 10:10, and a St. Bern. Abt 12 60th ann..... Great place to drink some good beers...the bartender(he was not the owner) knew his beer, and was a great guy. He was also a Ratebeer guy, as he called out a couple of my posts on here that I had to fess up to. He said there will be some nice surprises over the next couple of months...."it will be worth coming in on a weekly basis". I picked up a Pelican Bridal and Stone 10th Anniversary.... They have the C-Note on tap still, but are out of the Speakeasy Double Daddy. Not a large space, so might be tough with a large group or on the weekends.

Went to this place last night. Especially since I kept reading about it in the Seattle forums. Wow, this place is pretty awesome. Pretty much right in the area of the other beer places. Pretty big bottle selection and quite a few nice beers on tap. Walked in and was quickly greeted and served. They carry AleSmith brews here which is awesome since Portland seems to be the closest place to get them from. You can also purchase the bottles to go! Walked away with 2 bottles of Speedway Stout! Awesome place, just go!

Iíve loved this place since it opened. Itís small, and the attraction is definitely the beer list. They donít serve food (though you can order in) and parking is hit or miss (though you never have to walk more than a block). But if you like trying great new beers, this is one of a tiny handful of must-stop places in Seattle. The bartenders know their inventory, and they know whatís up and coming in the industry. They take care of their kegs, their bottles, and their lines. Itís always a reliable place to get a well-tended glass of beer, and the ambience is nice and mellow even when it gets crowded on the weekends. Best of all, if youíre newer in the craft beer world, theyíll patiently ask questions to build up a sort of taste profile for you and guide you to beers that will please your palate.

On the whole these guys knock it out of the park. Real mellow, smart, yet not snobish people who just love the beer. The bartender was very helpful in turning us onto beers we have never had.

What a great place! I stumbled upon this tonight (thanks to glkaiser and pitonka for the tipoff) and I was blown away.

Uber is a small bar that also sells bottled beers, either for consumption on site or to go. Their prices arenít cheap, especially on the lower end of the scale, but the selection is to die for. They donít compete with Bottleworks in sheer numbers (Iíd estimate maybe 150 beers) but they make up for it with the selection that they provide. A number of bottled beers that Iíve never seen elsewhere in Seattle seem to be happily residing here, including offerings from Alesmith (Horny Devil, Speedway), Pelican (Bridal), Panil Barriquee, and lots of other good stuff. The taps are eclectic as well, Belgian-oriented with a few good (and not-so-easily-found) West coast brews mixed in.

The bartender Frank was both a great guy and very knowledgable about the beers that they had to offer. A great addition to the Seattle beer scene!
