Small and smokey local pub less than 100 meters from Na PArkanu. Blunt smoke and loud playing Reggae music. The had 3 different Bernard beers and the unfiltered Svetle was really good. You have to go and get that 1 beer. It was not allowed to take pictures in there. Hmmhhh

Small bar located down from Na Parkanu, It was a quick visit for the Bernard Unfiltered, nice relaxed place.

Cool left-wing Jamaican style type of hang-out. Something my father would call a reggae-lovers pot-smokers joint. A super cool cosy place. Three small connected rooms sitting about 50 total. Babyfoot table. Two decent taps from Bernard, including the unfiltered. Definitely different and totally unlike all beer-bars I’ve visited in Czech Republic. Worth a visit if you’re a laid-back younger dude, must skip if you’re an older more uptight person.

Even though it is jamaican coloured, it remains mainly a laid~back cyech Hospoda. Nice beers, friendly service !

Only visited the small inner room and not the back yard. Nice to get some Bernard beers not too far (a few steps) from Na Parkanu. Didn’t eat. Service was rather nice. Gave up a Swedish 20 kronor bill to put on the wall with the rest :)

Strange sort of pub with Jamaican and Africa themed decor, small bar covered in paint and stickers and whatnot, feels a little like a western dive, but hey, the reason to visit is the unfiltered Bernard 12 on draft, which really is quite good. Located only a block or so from the center market in Plzen, so if you’re doing the city you should visit if only for the one Barnard beer. I came back in 2011 and it’s exactly the same as in 2008 :)

This was our third stop with Fil on our whirlwind tour of micro-Plzen. I was fortunate enough to have the regular Bernard the day before in Karlovy Vary. The Uniltered is a treat in this Alley-way courtyard city beer garden. Very local with the scent of canabis in the air. We only had one before we were off o Koutland with Fil. Very easy to find since its right off the main square in Plzen.

This is an easy stop in central Plzen, and one definitely worth just to try the unfiltered Bernard 12-degree. The Tmavé is also quite good and worth a pint. Fussball, absinth, and strange herbs abound. With such quality beers on tap, pleasure’s guaranteed here.
