70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 wheresthepath (47) , England | September 3, 2012 An unusual location for this brewpub - in the middle of a "craft village" - means that it’s a great place for raters with families to visit. Within the attractive complex there’s a small funfair and petting zoo for the kids and a multitude of craft shops for the other half (if they’re that way inclined). The Nofolk Cider Company is also located here, for lovers of fermented apple juice. Uncle Stuart’s itself has a small shop, where you can buy the full range of the brewery’s bottled beers (you can consume these on the premises if you want), plus a small bar with a large glass-screened patio area; a superb place to relax and drink guilt-free whilst the rest of the family are off enjoying themselves. The bar tends to sell one off specials, not available in bottles, so you’re bound to get some new ratings. Highly recommended if you’re in the area (although as it’s out in the countryside, you’ll have to get someone else to drive!). |
