Lovely building with the interior retaining an old feel of yesteryear. This is a handy spot to fill up on some grub and scoop the beers. As for the beer, best not to have high expectations. Service was on the slower side for us throughout our stay, but the folks were lovely and hospitable.

The best thing about this place was the building itself. Really need turn of the century architecture and a carved wooden bar. Brewkit visible through glass. Lots of old beer posters. Street parking or a lot around the corner. Service was very friendly but very slow. Food was piping hot a very filling, tasty enough. Beers were a bit weak but not overtly flawed. An OK stop if you’re passing through.

Neat ambiance. Looks a bit tired. Service was good, beer mediocre at best. Flights are pretty cheap and a good way to try 6 of their brews.

A quaint, old brewery/pub located in urban PA, complete with a rather old bar back. The waitress was friendly enough and just "getting into beer" since she started working there. The beers were solid, though nothing was particularly stand-out. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Large brewpub with a long bar and tall glass panes showing off the brewing area. Place was dimly lit with a lot of quirky decorations both embracing and making fun of the rural/amish surrounding areas. House beers were decent; about half were decent style representations, but the others seemed to be just a little off. Only came for beer, so I didn’t check out the food menu. Nice bartender who was new to craft beer and was excited to share in the experience with patrons.

Looks like a restored hardware store. Unbelievably high ceilings and lots of exposed brick. The walls are covered with local breweriana. They have 11 different things on tap. They lean heavily towards lagers. The food was fairly solid as were the beers. I can’t say I had anything that was particularly outstanding.,If I had one complaint it was the size of the sample glasses. 2.5 oz. seems a bit small to do a proper evaluation. It was a bit like drinking beer out of a test tube. The service was efficient but not particularly warm. (slow down, dude!) On the whole it was an interesting experience.

came here for a sampler. Neat old building with lots of old PA related beer stuff on the walls. Staff served my sampler and was not seen again until we shouted for him to pay our tab. The beers were all pretty bad and I got the impression the tap lines were dirty. Will probably never go back.

Just a mile or so down the road from all the antique warehouses in Adamstown. Attractive older building on Reamstowns main street. Owner must have grown up on Reading beer, because the memorabilia dominated the large, open interior. Above average service, quick, friendly and attentive. Decent menu that included an elk meatloaf sandwich that was very tasty. Good beers, including an IPA that was cask conditioned, Seem to remember about 8 altogether, including the dopplebock, lager and hefe (among others). The kind of place I would visit regularly if I lived a little closer.

Nice place, quite local to me. Been there thrice now, very good food, nice that they have samplers. Consistently very good service, even with a party of 10 on our last trip.
