Welcoming, comfortable, extensive menu of ciders. Parked a block away on a Sunday. This staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. A perfect way to taste around some excellent ciders from around the world. Go here.

Brand new place right near Van Ness and not all that far from Mikkeller Bar and Cellarmaker. In fact we walked from Cellarmaker to Upcider, over to Amsterdam Cafe, and back towards Cellarmaker/City Beer to the car. So there really is no reason NOT to stop here at least once. That said the place is very expensive and a little bit too hip for my tastes but itís got a nice lounge feel to it, and in fact there are some tables and couches that make it just that, a lounge. The service wasnít too snooty either, in fact they were helpful and knowledgeable for the most part. Granted I donít know much about cider, nor do I really care, but I had a good time here and wouldnít hesitate to stop in again, possibly to try the food.

78 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20
Was really looking forward to this place. Located on the second floor, but you can easily spot the location from the signs on the outside of the building. Really dark inside. Sat at the bar with t0rin0. The service wasnít great, but it was okay. Ordered a couple North Bay/Sonoma ciders, both of which were nice. Also got some garlic fries, which werenít bad at all (but Iím a sucker for those). The bathroom is barely big enough to fit inside. Single communal sink outside. Prices are a bit on the high side, but not unreasonable for a) the City and b) what ciders seem to be going for these days. Will have to come back and taste some more ciders.
