This place always continues to amaze me especially when it comes to beer. The guy who orders and stocks the beer is always around and super friendly and is always asking your opinion on the beer that is currently stocked and what you would like to see...the best part about it is he actually orders it and youíll probably see it within a week or so. They are also all about being local and supporting local farmers and brewers! One of the best beer selections in the Highlands hands down!

This is the place I go when I wanna take a few great beers home instead of going to a bar. There is a huge selection, many things I did not expect and they also fill growlers with a selection of around 8 drafts on tap. They even had my guilty pleasure Dogfish head world wide stout! The guy who works around the beer (kevin?) was super helpful and explained a lot to me...

I usually offer a beer to guests in my home. This place makes it easy to offer them something worth drinking. Initially I thought that the rating scheme might not apply in this case but on second thought... Ambiance: It is a grocery store. Theyíve got that grocery store environment down pat. Service: Service is generally quite good. I had an inexperienced employee pull a growler for me that was completely flat ten minutes later when I opened it at home. The manager did not hesitate to make amends. Selection: Many styles are represented; from Belgian Trappist Ales to NASCAR Session Swill. There is also a small selection of gift packs that include a proper piece of glassware. Food: They make a great Cuban sandwich in the deli! The cheese selection is not bad either. Value: I donít believe youíll be able to find many of the beers more cheaply elsewhere. Overall: This is my favorite place to buy beer to take home.

Great store in general. Their beer selection is awesome and the gentleman who ruuns the beer department (Kevin) is a great guy and very knowledgeable about beer. They always have a great selection and very fair prices.Aside from the beer, itís also a great place to get groceries their produce is always fresh. Great beer destination!

This is a beer store disguising itself as a grocery store. Or maybe it is a grocery store. Either way, I really donít buy groceries. Their beer selection is the best in the Highlands, with the possible exception of Old Town. You canít get mixed 6-packs or growlers, but you can get sushi and a deli sandwich to go. Kinda makes up for it.

Very little of the staff is beer-knowledgeable. No other flaws. Great value, and locally owned.

Itís a grocery store with a SURPRISE! giant lair of quality beer in the back, not to mention some seriously interesting taps to fill up that empty growler rolling around in your trunk (or bike basket, whatever). I donít love their food prices but the Belgians and Belgian-styles are reasonable, especially if youíre out in the Highlands and donít feel like trekking it out to the higher tier beer stores in Louisville. I have never seen less than five disparate selections of glassware bundled with beers, as well as some magnums and, just because, a bunch of BMC stuff all the way in the back, not that you care about that, of course.

Located in the Mid City Mall on Bardstown Rd in the Highlands. They have an nice selection of beers; probably the best packaged beer in the Highlands. Prices are reasonable. Space is rather limited but should not deter from the quality. Would go back again if Iím in the area. Note: I tried to give it a higher rating but I felt pretty good about the category numbers. I guess the rating number has a lot to do with the food rating.

Grocery store with a pretty big beer selection. Walk in cooler with mostly main stays, some local West Sixth and New Albanian ticks. Singles selection which is nice to tick but not a ton of local stuff. The reason to come here is the growler station. 12 taps that are awesome and cheap as can be. $9-$12 including glassware for great stuff like Maharaja, Gumballhead, etc. Worth a stop.
