Modern bar. Only 3 beers of their own availlable when we visited. Prices are ok, selection could be more but it’s ok.

Visited on a Thursday, right after opening. Stylish looking brewpub with a seating area where you enter, and an elevated area where the bar is with some extra tables and stools, artsy looking chairs and tables, Spartan interior, not much in the sense of decoration. No menu, all bottles and drafts are on display behind the bar. Good service, very nice bottle selection, unfortunately for us only 2 of their own beers on draft when we were there, due to a very succesful opening weekend. Decent prices I think. I think this will catch on with the locals.

Finally the long wait is over! A neat place in the centre of Eindhoven. An old office building which now functions as a brewpub (brewing is done in the cellar and the 1st and 2nd floors are used for tables and chairs for the people to enjoy their beers and the 2nd floor holds the bar, DJ bar and toilets.
The selection excists of 12 taps of which 6 are rotating taps and the other 6 are Van Moll taps (also rotating).
They have a bottle selection of 40+ at the moment. I was told that the bottle selection will also be rotating and might be growing a little more. There’s no beer menu in the form of books or lists on the tables or bar, but there are magnetic strips hanging from the wall above the taps with what is available on tap or in bottles.
Service is friendly, very nice, in for a chat, with a smile and they try to serve everybody beer at the same speed. When it’s crowded it might take some minutes longer for you get your order, but assuming that you get a good beer from the tap it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Everybody is coming for the same. Prices are between normal to a little more expensive. 10-12 Euro for a bomber of their own brew is a bit expensive but it is absolutely worth your money!
They are working on lots of local things, like local food promotion. There’s no kitchen/food-card, but they got/or did have handmade fish bitterballs and different cheeses.! But they will get some local food promoters in the future that will be selling their different selections of food.
There’s nothing bad to add to this review, so get your ass over here and start drinking Van Moll! ;-)

Easy to find place in Eindhoven, not far from central station. Eindhoven’s first brewpub! Nice interior with places to sit at the table or at the bar. Very good quickly changing tap and bottle selection, always six of their own beers on tap which most of the time are very good. Certainly recommended!

I was there yesterday for their opening. A few tables scattered around, with different styles too and few chairs. Probably a good choice since the place was packed for the opening and I noticed they were bringing more from downstairs when needed. 12 taps, six with their own beers and 6 from other brewers. Quite a few bottles on offer with some heavy names among them, also 750s. Prices were good for the tap beers, a bit expensive I think on bottles and as DutchDrebus says especially for their own bottled beers. Nice atmosphere, barmen did their best to get your order fast. Surely a different approach. I’m looking forward to more of their beers in bottles so more people can try their beers.

Great looking pub. Somehow it looks quite modern, but at the same time a bit oldskool. 6 taps with their own beers, 6 with other brews (some of those quite special). I think they have about 30 bottles for sale and they plan to rotate the selection a lot. When that happens, my selection score will be upgraded.
I can’t really judge their food yet. Yesterday there were ’bitterballen’, but I think that was a special thing. I’m not sure whether they are planning on serving food on a regular basis.
The staff is very nice and they are interested to know what you think of their beers. Since yesterday was their opening it was pretty crowded and I thought that maybe they could use more chairs and tables in their pub (I hate standing). But then again, I guess there’s enough available chairs and tables on regular days.
I also think it’s cool that they don’t serve anything from big brands. Want cola? You’ll get cola, but it won’t be Coca Cola. Want a pilsener? Sure, but you’re not getting Heineken or Bavaria. It may be a bit hipsterish, but it’s cool. They care about craft products - from their beers to their softdrinks.
Pricing is decent, although I must say that I was a bit shocked by the price of their own bottled beer. The ’Ons Blackie’ was 12,5 euro’s, their ’Scheepsrecht’ was about 11 euro. They’re worth it, but I expected them to be a bit cheaper since you’re drinking them right at the source, which cuts transport costs and stuff.
Great brewpub! Looking forward to see how it will all work out the next few months.
