Of all the places I’d been in Montreal so far, this was the most modern, upscale and hipster. They still did frites and beer very well. I love being able to get a glass of beer (as opposed to a pint) anywhere in the city, but hate the information design of the menus! Brewery first, then beer name, dammit! That said, the waitstaff was very friendly, quick and pleasant. I thought the selection here was less enamoring than Le Saint Bock, but still very nice to see a solid focus on the regional beers, if some prominent members were missing in my opinion.

A cool brick building with tons of space and a huge crowd plus 30+ Quebec beers on tap. Great terrace. 6 beer tasting set for 14.50 $ which while pricier than other places was also the biggest tasting set of the night. Very cool place but I was expecting more due to it’s reputation. The location isn’t so convenient and I think Le Saint-Bock’s new taps are giving them a run for their money - well curated selection though.

Fantastic spot. Over thirty Québec beers on tap with constant cycling of taps. Demis are in general affordable, thus making this a great place to sample the latest that La Belle Province has to offer. Friendly, quick service. We were there on a Thursday night and the place was packed, so be sure to get there early.

Simply Awesome ! Had a relaxing poutine lunch on the back outdoor patio on a beautiful sunny day. Nice shade tree, amazing staff with great knowledge of the beer they are serving and willingness to help you find the beer you looking for. Atmosphere is top notch and has a few different options from sitting at the bar to sitting in a open walled indoor seat to lounging outside with the sound of a local playground in the background ! Loved this place and wish I never left !

Comments: Awesome beer bar up St Laurent past Dieu Du Ciel. Open late. Large tap list of all local beers including many specialties and tap-only offerings. Half pours permitted. They prefer you don’t run a tab and pay as you go, but tough shit. People here were really nice, somewhat rowdy as there was a Montreal Canadians playoff game and they brought out a projector and bed sheet- this place does not have a TV. Looked like they had a good Scotch and perhaps Ice Cider selection. Didn’t look at the food menu or bottle list but they have both.

I suppose 36 draft beers should be enough for anyone... Busy place, excellent selection of local stuff.

Nice little European-style pub with probably the most impressive selection in town of about 32 high profile Quebec drafts. Also some top notch ciders are available. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Their sampler of 6 beers of your choice is amazing value. Food is focused on meats such as sausages and burgers, with the usual offering of french fries or poutine. A very enjoyable place, with a fantastic selection of Quebec brews.

Nice beer bar located in Montreal. Cool, woody pub atmosphere. The bar was absolutely packed when we were there so we drank standing at the bar. Tons of attentive waiting staff and nice bar tenders. They offer sample flights which is nice for an American becuase I’ve never even heard of half these breweries. Nice selection of pales, ipas, stouts and one or two ciders while we were there. Would go back again. Strong rec if you are in montreal.

Great place in the northern part of Montreal. Great selection with Dunham, Dieu du Ciel and Le Trou du Diable on tap. Service was good, except I hate the Montreal tradition of the servers constantly asking for patrons to settle the bill. Nice friendly and mellow crowd inspite of the age group which is relatively young. Taxi service is nearby so leave your car at home (or your hotel), so you can try as many as you can handle. BTW If you do drive, keep in mind that the cops here are dicks (especially officer Silverman, unit 548, AKA Le Pee-hole). Careful how you drive, and where you park.

Un choix impressionnant en bières, peu importe le moment où vous y allez. Le service est bon, on répond à vos questions et on prend son temps si le bar n’est pas plein à craquer. Moins de variété pour la nourriture, à mon avis, mais c’est bon.
