Of all the places I’d been in Montreal so far, this was the most modern, upscale and hipster. They still did frites and beer very well. I love being able to get a glass of beer (as opposed to a pint) anywhere in the city, but hate the information design of the menus! Brewery first, then beer name, dammit! That said, the waitstaff was very friendly, quick and pleasant. I thought the selection here was less enamoring than Le Saint Bock, but still very nice to see a solid focus on the regional beers, if some prominent members were missing in my opinion.

Visited on my last day in Montréal, a warm, busy Friday night in the middle of the summer. Located on the outskirts of Little Italy, this cozy pub with a spacious patio draws beer conscious corwds. It can get so noisy that you cannot hear your own thoughts, but this just testifies to it popularity and quality. There are 33 taps devoted to local, Québec microbrews (and a few ciders). The staff are friendly and theybdo their best not to keep the guests waiting although this may not always be possible. Not very cheap, just regular for the city. I did not try the food, but the choice looks better that what you would expect in annordinary pub. A really nice place. Thumbs up. I would love to be back one day.

Nice pub in Montreal, that carries a lot of Quebec drafts, approximately 40 at any given time. Beer selection is above average. Food menu is small, but the pulled pork poutine in beer sauce is more than worth the trip. Service was decent, but did not stand out. Lovely backyard patio. I’d certainly go again.

One of many stops on Ernestos bachelor party pub crawl. This place was fantastic. Really spacious outdoor seating area that was a bit crowded so we sat inside where it was nice traditional pub decor. Staff was friendly and dealt with us obnoxious Americans very well. Beer selection was awesome and we got full flights of Dunham, and Trois du diable as well as some other beers. Food was absolutely fantastic. I got bison poutine which was my favorite thing I ate all weekend. Others raved about their food as well. Must stop place if youre in Montreal.

Spent a pleasant afternoon here last week. The sunny day ensued that the outside terrace was packed so grabbed a seat inside with no issues. The selection is nicely focused on quality Quebec breweries. I had a decent grilled cheese sandwich. Staff were really nice but perhaps a little too slow for my liking. Still I enjoyed it here and would be happy to make another visit.

Very comfortable place to have a beer.Like the big self serve water jug in the back.
Service is very good here-there really is a difference between a professional server and a student working a part time job.
If your visiting Montreal and wondering if it is worth the trek(many other places closer to downtown)I say it is!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. A nice area for a walk, good friendly and helpful staff, food was good, beer menu was great. My friends and I drank far too much here, but it was a great welcoming place for beer geeks and non, the server had many recommendations for everyone.

It was February, so nobody sitting outside in the back, but looks like they have a decent amount of space. There’s a few different seating/dining areas, but we sat at the bar in what I assume is the main dining area.
The service was quick and friendly, and they speak English well, for travelers like myself. I didn’t ask too much about the beer or anything, but they seemed to know what they were doing.
The draft list is impressive. Seemed like about 40 beers on draft and there were a couple special bottles, including a special barrel aged offering from Dieu du Ciel. Beers are served in good condition as well. The beers are mostly from Quebec but also a good selection from around Canada in general.
This place really is top notch. Highly worth a visit if you are in Montreal. Arguably even more worthwhile than Dieu du Ciel.

my review is for their 11th birthday party last february 7th 2015 not sure how it is normaly as it was my first visit. 35 taps or so were available including some private import HF and some Ontario microbreweries Bellwoord, Great Lake and prime selection for QC breweries including DDC, TDD, Dunham. The place was pack even arriving an hour after opening. Service was perfect..I’m a bit surprise how well it runs even with that much people. Price are ok, proper glassware for style. For lunch I had the carpoutine which was pretty good. The place is about 10 minutes walk for the beaubien metro station. I could see myself coming back there but on a normal night.
