These guys do MAILORDER!! They only have about 50% of what their website says they have (at any given time), but the prices are fair and the selection is decent. Shipment is slow - about 2 weeks to receive.

Excellent selection in the middle of fricking nowhere. Somewhere near Va Tech campus.Note that it is in a small strip mall and isnít all that large of a store. Look closely or you will miss it. Tons and Tons of beer. Although when I saw it the selection looked slightly ransacked (from what others say it sounds like it always does) it was top notch nonetheless. Note that they had: All of the Stone Products including Old Guardian, Imperial Stout, 8th Anniversiary and finally the 04.04.04 Epic. Excellent Belgian selection. A number of very rare ones such as Josephís Spelt ale and others that I simply couldnít place. British selection included Deep Shaft stout and Old Expensive. Only place Iíve ever seen Liefmanís at. The folks working there were much help. Didnít ask about back stock. Prices were ok, perhaps slightly jacked but not too awful. BEutiful drive out to find it. Make a visit.

They have as good a selection as I have seen in the South. Decent selection of Belgians, English, German and American Micros. No bottle deposit and a 4.5% sales tax.

Just received my order from Vintage Cellar. I have to say Iím very pleased. I received excellent phone. Their customer service and more importantly their knowledge of what I was seeking was outstanding. Will do allot more business with them in the future. Used to live in Virginia, wish I knew about them when I used to pass through Blacksburg.

I have ordered several times from here but have only gone there once. A fairly long drive from house (around four and a half hours), I arrived on a Saturday afternoon in September with a friend of mine. WOW! The selection was enormous. The store itself seems mainly dedicated to wine but there is a extensive beer selection. Belgians, US micros, aged beers, etc. it kept going on and on. There is also glasses available. The only bad thing about it was the selection available vs. the selection on the website. The website is so outdated that the employeees told us it hadn't been updated in months and that most people placing an order off the website would not be able to obtain the selected beers. Indeed, they listed several Fantome beers on the website and only one or two were there. This was the only drawback. The staff offered to search through the back in case any other Fantome beers were not on display and were very friendly in general. You get a discount for every 24 bottles purchased, which was unknown to me but came as a nice surprise. Worth the trip despite the disappointment, I would recommend it to anyone. The only caveat: call or email before basing anything off of what is offered on the website.
