76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 16/20
stopped here on 7/9/13 while bouncing around Manhattan because we heard a dirty rumor about this place.
A: It is a tiny place located in Manhattan, very tight confinement with about 5 table on the inside of the place. While it is called Vintner Wine Market, they certainly did offer a decent selection of beers in bottle and about 6 taps.
Q: We went there because we heard a rumor that they had Bourbon County on tap...to our surprise, they had regular bourbon county, coffee bourbon county, cherry rye bourbon county, bruery white oak and bruery bois. I have got to believe that their selection is always that strong but they offered a nice variety of bottles too.
S: The people there arent beer nerds by any means but they were very friendly, quick to serve and even apologize to us when we arrived because they had shut down their food service when we arrived but did offer us a bowl of olives and pepperchinis.
S: As said earlier, I have got to believe that their tap selection is not always that strong but it was a huge surprise when we saw it...bottles were decent too.
V: We paid $10 for cherry rye, coffee, and bois for 10o snifter pours. I am sure it would be cheaper somewhere else outside of NYC but you are paying for the area too...to be expected.
Overall, a very tiny place but surprised to say the least.
